Yea but for immigrants it’s existential. If you can’t be here the economy doesn’t matter. Of course the tricky part is that immigration was soooo disgracefully abused and mismanaged for voting points with certain crowds, that someone had to do the hard work in fixing it; sure. But that also means a lot of good folks who happen to be here without necessarily having the proper credentials; whom just wanna work hard and make some money to improve their lives or help their families, they are getting fucked. And even if it’s not prevalent..we ve learned fear sells and motivates. So all the libs need to do is equate Trump with “we all get deported” and that swings the pendulum.

It appears(without looking at the same polls that the fools always find solace in), that most of the gains Trump made with Hispanics between 2016-2024 he's lost because of how he's handled the immigration stuff. And its hard to see how thats retrievable given that for many(not all) of those communities, its a matter or survival either directly, or for people in their communities. Total unforced error on Donnys part.

I’m just waiting for the next act. After being dead silent about pedos while their friends had the Epstein files for four years, likely to protect the likes of the Clintons, Gates and Summers types…the calendar changes and they went rabid trying to hang that one on Donny…now, after screaming dictator for a decade; I’m excited to see if they take the bait and start aggressively defending Venezuela and the Maduro regime. Real life soap opera!

Beautiful holiday week/end and yall still worried about what Trumps doing on Twitter….

Weird that they didn’t run this by any of the EU neighbors? Are they all really that worthless and lacking influence? Maybe next time they should try Katie Perry’s new boyfriend?

Eh, 50x with growth isnt a big deal. People said it for like 15 years with the likes of Netflix, Costco and stuff like Amazon, and now get emotional W's outta "stock hasn't done anything for a couple years" or "its off double digits from ATHs" but the truth is that many things have printed people a ton of money while carrying PE's like that. It's way more relevant to focus on where you think they are in the growth cycle. NVDA could still be kinda early in the cycle.

Well, the sad thing is, @Parsad could indeed be right this time(I don’t think so, but that’s not an opinion with much conviction either way), however it would be for naught because the lefty losers and MSM spent the last decade crying wolf, falsely declaring pretty much the same thing. Again, they’ll sleep in the bed they make for themselves.

Yup. Fair or not, a country like Ukraine(they’re not by a mile the only country in this category either) needs to realize that to the establishment politicians in the EU/US, they are merely “play things” that much like a Tinder fling, are used for a bit and then discarded when something more interesting comes along. Don’t like it? Well take it up with the people for vote for those establishment scumbags that play these games.

That’s kind of the larger point. You have people whom wake up in the middle of the night and think “Trump must’ve woke me up!” continuing to obsess over Trump, which is par for the course for them. But as it relates to this war, the only real question or perspective of legitimacy is simply, “where the fuck are Germany, France, UK, etc?”….and from my personal perspective, it’s not even entirely clear to me why those countries should have mandates either; but it’s 100% logically incompatible to sit here choking on your own vomit regurgitating “Trump!” demands and criticisms without equal or much greater ones for “the neighbors”…

Nah. My stance is exactly the same as it was on day one of the war; that this isn’t the US taxpayer’s war. Otherwise I merely pointed out the somewhat absurd but definitely noticeable rhetoric that apparently all sorts of things that weren’t so, magically became so, just cuz the calendar changed and Trump physically took office. Not really sure what Vance has to do with that, but if he noticed people behaving like that too, he wouldn’t be wrong. Remember all the people whom cashed up ahead of the Great Depression of spring/summer 2025?

Yea I’m not sure what media people are putting their faith in, but remember the “fuck you Russia” Ukrainian soldiers who refused to surrender and instead fearlessly cursed out the approaching Russians before being blown up? Only to then later be found safe, in Russian custody, and later returned alive? Or “the ghost of Kyiv” stories being pumped out only for it later to be revealed as a hoax? Too many lies and dishonest narrative driven media stories to count….Lmfao Unlike many, my stance on the war has been the same since day one. I do find it incredible though how many, especially Europeans, literally eat, sleep, and breathe Trump, and have so much to say about something that….really doesn’t have anything to do with Trump lol. It’s like ok cool…why don’t yall go help the cause and buy some Russian gas?
-
Oooff. So another “the calendar changed from January 19 to January 20th and the economy went to hell, rates rose, inflation picked up, and oh yea…Ukraine went from tied in its years long war to losing in a landslide”…lmfao you guys are too much. Frankly the powers that you assign to Trump in the real world are crazy, and only outmatched by the power you give him over your own emotional states. But yea, anyway, this non NATO, EU bordering problem child…lets make this Trump and the US taxpayers war lol….lets completely ignore as if they don’t even exist all these windbags in Europe. Heck, forget about those European nations directly funding Russia via energy purchases. Foam at the mouth MOAR about Trump lmfao…good riddance.

This isnt a serious statement, is it?

Just came full circle. Started out as a med school blogger, and even reading some of his old VIC stuff, clearly his talent got lost in the pursuit of the macro trading obsession. Hes basically what Einhorn would've been without the rich parents.

It’s surprising how naive everyone is with respect to the relationship. Ukraine was never a real ally. It’s was a “thing” that the Bush/Obama/Biden style politicians played with. It’s main purpose was to antagonize Russia indirectly, with a call option embedded in the expansion of their little NATO/EU club.
-
You can also add in that Ukrainian girl who was able to escape to America, only to be murdered on her way home from work because of liberal politics.
-
I mean 20 years ago US and Russian relations were good. What changed? Why pretty much out of nowhere around 2010-12 did we all of a sudden have to pick fights and antagonize everything Russia related? Sure there’s the stupid EU academic cover story about how Putin, despite being quite old and apparently if you listen to the MSM being on his deathbed for the past 5-7 years…still, some day, somewhere, over the rainbow, they say he will reassemble the old USSR….but the truth is that American agencies and the windbags of the elitist and academic EU think tanks basically embarked on some absurd mission to convert everyone even remotely central to their hierarchical kingdom. They absolutely lost their minds when the UK began talks of leaving them, and likely set sights on expansion via old USSR…modern day soft imperialism. Europe with the help of the US fucked Ukraine, they can fix it.
-
The French supported them purely out of political ambition and desire for influence in the New World. They were also still bitter about the 7 year war. It’s a decent comparison without context, but the same reasons that inspired their interference(or help) are the reasons the US and folks like John McCain royally fucked Ukraine and put them in this situation in the first place. All these pompous asshole EU leaders as well.

Ukraine is basically: Guy buys a home. Moves in and gets bombarded with requests for assistance from random dude on other side of town with yard and home issues. Shrugs and says sure, I’ll a nice guy, I’ll try, but it ain’t my top priority. Gives some money. Then hears grumbling from a few neighbors about how he’s not doing enough. How he’s a cheapskate. How it’s pathetic how the previous owner did so much more. So he gives some more. Later finds out more people are getting louder, still calling him a cheapskate, slandering him, holding him to one standard while everyone else in town gets a free pass. Later guy finds out the biggest pissants actually live next door, across the street, and behind the home that needs all the assistance and haven’t offered a penny themselves. If I’m that guy I say fuck you I’m out, it’s your problem now, have fun. And then build something extravagant on my own property.

I mean there’s very clear statistical evidence that inner cities and certain demographics have a ridiculous and appalling obsession with firearms. I mean take Illinois for instance. The heat map would very obviously zero in on a very few specific areas and demographics and it really only become taboo to acknowledge this maybe 10-15 years ago.
-
Honestly I’d enjoy teaching kids about financial literacy. Would probably do it for free if the situation was right. But I don’t think I’d be able to stand the bureaucracy of the institutions.

Double major history and English, minor in Econ; was supposed to go to law school. GFC happened. Decided to wing it. Rest is history. Never taken a business or accounting course in my life.

Well, because we placate these people for political points. Broken window policing proved highly effective. Then we swing all the way to cashless bail. You used to go to jail for a very long time for an unregistered gun, heck remember Plaxico? Got prison time for accidentally clipping himself with his own gun! Now it’s NBD, back on the street. The harder we get on penalties for not following the law with respect to guns, the better imo. They’re way too accessible and when you look at certain inner city cultures, they’re too prevalent. It’s pretty simple. Canadian dudes are rabid hunters and you don’t see these types of shootings there.

My English degree begs to differ.

Thank goodness you didn’t. I wonder if they would’ve passed the enunciate vs annunciate challenge. Although it’s common for some of them at those ages to still be in 7th or 8th grade so maybe they just need more time.
