  1. Question: With Apple being such a large part of Berkshire now, how does everyone feel having such a large piece of BRK tied up in an asset that we have absolutely no control over? It's becoming more of a partnership than an investment. Thoughts?
  2. Will BRK underwrite the insurance coverage for these as well?
  3. The guy interviewing Munger is a hack.
  4. Charlie did a lot of talking during the show. Looked and sounded much better than 97 years old!
  5. A friend of the family, who asked me for advice a year ago, is now offering their own picks on FB for everyone to follow.
  6. So when WSB is done playing with GME, when is it time to put our shorts in place, lol.
  7. This is my sentiment exactly. Keep the current cash pile where it's at and nothing higher. Use all cash coming in to buy back stock and strike when an opportunity arises. If he does nothing but invest excess cash in BRK buybacks for the next year, we'll all be happy shareholders!
  8. Hope so. I have a couple years of below market returns to make up on.
  9. Getting more curious to find out what company BRK got the non-disclosure for. Is he finally taking bites at GE? The aircraft engines and turbine business would be a good fit. Bolt on acquisitions for PCP and BHE, lol.
  10. I'm about 80% BRK, the highest I have ever been. Edit: and I am continuously writing puts on BRK, usually a week or less from expiration. Kab and Boiler, good posts. I'm thinking and acting the same as you. Currently 70% BRK. It's a safe place to harbor for awhile and the coming growth should be nice.
  11. Why do I feel like I'm in a scene of Good Will Hunting?
  12. Any good speculation on what BRK is acquiring and got the non-disclose from the SEC for? Let's have some fun with it! A TSLA friend sent me this: But seriously, what does everyone think?
  13. Is Iscar kicked to the curb by WEB in the next quarter?
  14. What is another investment the size of the AAPL position that could be taken on and get the same result? If you're going to sell AAPL, you should have a better investment lined up.
  15. This is my thought as well. They already have a cash problem. Why add to it?
  16. How do we know that this isn't already happening? As risk averse and safe as WEB is, I would not be surprised if the replacement hasn't been co-piloting or running things for awhile now.
