  1. Hope so. I have a couple years of below market returns to make up on.
  2. Getting more curious to find out what company BRK got the non-disclosure for. Is he finally taking bites at GE? The aircraft engines and turbine business would be a good fit. Bolt on acquisitions for PCP and BHE, lol.
  3. I'm about 80% BRK, the highest I have ever been. Edit: and I am continuously writing puts on BRK, usually a week or less from expiration. Kab and Boiler, good posts. I'm thinking and acting the same as you. Currently 70% BRK. It's a safe place to harbor for awhile and the coming growth should be nice.
  4. Why do I feel like I'm in a scene of Good Will Hunting?
  5. Any good speculation on what BRK is acquiring and got the non-disclose from the SEC for? Let's have some fun with it! A TSLA friend sent me this: But seriously, what does everyone think?
  6. Is Iscar kicked to the curb by WEB in the next quarter?
  7. What is another investment the size of the AAPL position that could be taken on and get the same result? If you're going to sell AAPL, you should have a better investment lined up.
  8. This is my thought as well. They already have a cash problem. Why add to it?
  9. How do we know that this isn't already happening? As risk averse and safe as WEB is, I would not be surprised if the replacement hasn't been co-piloting or running things for awhile now.
  10. Oh boy. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/05/trump-says-warren-buffetts-airline-stock-sale-was-a-mistake.html
  11. Question: Has anyone received their Shareholder credentials for the meeting? Are they even mailing those out this year due to the circumstances? I have a collection going back years of all the credentials, so was curious as the status of this years. Thanks.
  12. Caterpillar pretty easily or Coca Cola for a stretch.
  13. Ol' Uncle Warren better be buying BRK shares hand over fist this week!
  14. Could WEB's donated shares to the Gates Foundation be "tendered" back to Berkshire Hathaway?
  15. Sold my GOOG shares on 1/24. Have the same feeling that it will be available cheaper in the future. Currently sitting at 15-20% cash and all new money is going to cash for the time being.
  16. Agreed. The revenue from membership dues, margins on the Kirkland Brand and the very sticky, loyalty of members makes this attractive to me.
  17. Would love to see Buffett and Munger buy Costco.
  18. Maybe Michael Bloomberg will have to divest himself of the company and Buffett can pick it up in an all cash private deal, lol.
  19. Restoration Hardware and Occidental Petroleum bought during 3Q. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/11/14/warren-buffetts-berkshire-hathaway-reveals-new-stake-in-furniture-retailer-rh-shares-surge.html
  20. Great detail and explanation. Thanks for the continued effort and sharing!!
  21. Tracy Britt Cool leaving Berkshire to start her own firm. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/09/18/berkshire-executive-and-buffett-protege-tracy-britt-cool-is-leaving.html
  22. So really what brought Bill Murray there? Any speculation? Murray has that clothing business he started with his brothers. Possibly seeking business advice? No idea.
