  1. Also a bit more JOE today, after some of my orders filled.
  2. USTR - Office of the United States Trade Representative [ustr.gov][March 31st 2025] : USTR Releases 2025 National Trade Estimate Report. Link to Report.
  3. Started positions in these three tiny Danish banks, after some orders filled this morning : NRDF.CPH [Nordfyns Bank A/S], trades at P/E 6.3 and P/B 0.7, LOLB.CPH [Lollands Bank A/S], trades at P/E 7.0 and P/B 0.8, and MNBA.CPH [Møns Bank A/S], trades at P/E 5.4 and P/B 0.7. Especially NRDF is also to be considered a meal ticket, because the bank is headquartered in the city Odense in Denmark, where I live, perhaps the return on the stock may even include some new friends, as I intend to participate in shareholder meetings going forward. - - - o 0 o - - - -And Lolland isen't even a joke
  4. Do you have a link to it, Mike [ @cubsfan ], that you want to share?
  5. I personally share these thoughts of yours, @Spekulatius, I have a feeling - a loose feeling, I should say, of an administration, that simply can't keep up with its political leader, and likely most are scared beyond recognition, in fear of falling short and getting ditched, while their leader is unpredicable. @Viking has called this White House tariff session a communication disaster, and I agree.
  6. This day - 'Liberation Day' - was likely the day where political tensions here on CofB&F peaked, likely for a long time. I suppose the board likely, gradually and slowly will return to it's ordinary modus operandi, where we all mostly get along in a good and plesant way, in stead of the other sh*t. That discussions here from time to time can get a bit 'robust', shoulden't harm anyone. It is an integral part of that passion, that we like to share here on CofB&F. And now I'm at it : I'm a firm believer in, that no political discussion - none!, what so ever - here on CofB&F, have ever moved as much as just one political vote! [It's all futile, waste of time, and all that.]. The fact is that a certain message from you can be 'served' in many ways. Pick your personal way consciously and wisely. It's your choice.
  7. @landstander, Do you have a source for this? - Thank you in advace.
  8. HaHa! - It's killing me! Awesome humor, @dwy000
  9. @Sweet, Correct, as documented, with sources, above, upsteam, earlier, in this topic. The truth does not - in any way - matter to this person. It's like a humwee iddling, what ever is hitting his mind under these kinds of interviews in the oval oficce, comes out of his mouth, pretty much unfiltered, and unstructured, based on how questions are asked.
  10. Well, it isen't 1st April any longer, but for entertainment purposes, from 1st April, a thread on X, while the man is dead serious. ... -Enjoy!, and Happy Liberation Day! :
  11. Added this morning to FYNBK.CPH [Fynske Bank A/S, dividend reinvestment, my households dailyday 'ordinary' bank, a small Danish regional bank, a well and conservatively run bank, that trades at P/E ~9.3 and P/B at ~ 0.81]. I have owned it pretty much since it got listed in 2001. - - - o 0 o - - - Everytime the bank tries to get ideas of new fees or higher fees, I *shrug* and buy a little more - Works great .
  12. @Hektor, USD 100 K a month isen't bad, for starters. He should consider adding that kind of film added to taxis etc. with commercials, but focused on and for Tesla owners, who are afraid of getting their Teslas keyed. [I.e. a DUREX commercial would be perfect : 'DUREX - We protect your Tesla!'] That would be an awesome addition to his business.
  13. In my opinion, Elon Musk has already inflicited irreparable and irrevocable commercial damages to his bussinesses by assuming this DOGE gig, thereby siding POTUS. Europeans don't forget.
  14. Exactly, @Spooky, And personally I've been thinking about why, not just lately, but actually for quite some time, why it is is so. Naturally, it's about having good businesses having their home here, and to nurse them, so they stay here, in stead them leaving for greener pastures. But on the political side it's also about getting the necessary things done, switfly, when needed, in stead of things [real well meant and honest, sincere, noble initiatives] getting burried in political spin and *BS*. Still, nothing is near perfect here, but not much is really bad. -Ain't that something? We have such a government by now here in Denmark, where idealogic issues are overshadowed by practical approach to issues and actual execution to get issues solved and to get things done. And then, when I study the United States of America, among other things, based on posts and sources posted here on CofB&F, I get a feeling of a society, divided in two, with no real mutual intentions to get along with each other.
  15. Thank you, Carl [ @Cigarbutt ], Awesome, - just awesome post.
  16. Here are some macro data from The Economist - what do you see? :
  17. Thank you, @73 Reds and Greg [ @Gregmal ], What are the actual procedures for processing of the US budget in relation to the congress and POTUS? Where to read about it to get a basic understanding? [Here, please remember, I'm an ignorant Dane! Here, in the Danish Parlament, no political decisions with economic consequences are taken without the financing of such initiatives is covered also.]
  18. Charlie [ @dealraker ], @73 Reds and every one else, Why does it appear as if there are almost no real and serious discussions anywhere in USA of what the policies the current administration of the United States of America is doing to the state budget, and future state budgets? It's all burried in 'bullet points', slogans, populism, [propaganda?] etc. - No where to look for the overall consequenses [, likely meaning 'all those unpopular desicions we leave to the next guy/girl, and if that next guy/girl want to just to kick the can longer down the road to the next next guy/girl, then so be it. We need the sun to shine on us when we're finally in the limelight!' The whole thing appears totally reckless to me.
  19. @charlie [ @dealraker ], This is pretty striking to me [ ]: DR - dr.dk - Abroad [March 30th 2025] : Trump's authoritarian ambitions could hit Danish pensions. The aware and knowledgeable voter is dead ... - long live the ignorant voter..!
  20. @LC, Great approach!
  21. Retuters - World [March 30th 2025] : Trump 'pissed off' at Putin, threatens tariffs on Russian oil if Moscow blocks Ukraine deal. - - - o 0 o - - - CREA - Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air [February 11th 2025] : January 2025 — Monthly analysis of Russian fossil fuel exports and sanctions. - - - o 0 o - - - Which Russian oil exports to the United States of America to impose tariffs on? - All spin and *BS*.
  22. , @Milu, It's almost killing me! - The masses of six persons on a tear, creating a rebellion. Work by reporting person Tom O'Brien for The Irish Times however seems incomplete. I mean : From the two photos included in the piece it seems like the weather actually was good under the session. I mean : What did the weather forecast say for the day? - Perhaps Ireland is like Denmark : 'A revolution is never going to happen on a rainy day.'
  23. , Now that's a bit funny!, @no_free_lunch, Thank you.
  24. Thank you for elaborating here, Greg [ @Gregmal ], It's actually appreciated.
  25. Thank you, @73 Reds, Very much appreciated, actually! I'm not sure [at all] that I have understood things correctly, but to me, The United States of America appears, to me, to be a deeply divided [on people level] union of states, where nobody cares about their [perhaps not so lucky [ovarial lottery and all that]], not successful neighbour, and next, fellow citizen. The POTUS' adress to the Congress, recently, said it all, and demonstrated it clearly, demonstrated by the sentiment in corum, right side noisy, left side silent as a tombstone.
