  3. In US https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Growler_(jug) Now you have to tell me what it means elsewhere! A female organ that is part of the reproductive system. Hint: It's not a uterus. I have neighbors who are always going to get growlers at a local brew pub. They will now wonder why I start laughing every time they say they are going to pick up a growler!
  4. Just saw my second bar in a grocery store. Here is the bar in Gelson's grocery in Beverly Hills. Edit: Actually in Century City right next to Beverly Hills.

  6. In March 2017 I was in a Whole Foods near Destin, FL and saw one of those bars in there. The first time I had seen that. They also had a wall with spigots for about 50 beers that you could buy in one of those growlers.

  8. An engineer, a physicist, and an economist find themselves shipwrecked on a desert island with nothing to eat but a sealed can of beans. How to get at the beans? The engineer proposes breaking the can open on a rock. The physicist suggests heating the can in the sun until it bursts. The economist's approach: "First, assume we have a can opener…."

  10. A girl asks her boyfriend to come over Friday night to meet and have a dinner with her parents. Since this is such a big event, the girl announces to her boyfriend that after dinner, she would like to go out and make love for the first time. The boy is ecstatic, but he has never had sex before, so he takes a trip to the pharmacist to get some condoms. He tells the pharmacist it's his first time and the pharmacist helps the boy for about an hour. He tells the boy everything there is to know about condoms and sex. At the register, the pharmacist asks the boy how many condoms he'd like to buy, a 3-pack, 10-pack, or family pack. The boy insists on the family pack because he thinks he will be rather busy, it being his first time and all. That night, the boy shows up at the girl's parents house and meets his girlfriend at the door. "Oh, I'm so excited for you to meet my parents, come on in!" The boy goes inside and is taken to the dinner table where the girl's parents are seated. The boy quickly offers to say grace and bows his head. A minute passes, and the boy is still deep in prayer, with his head down. 10 minutes pass, and still no movement from the boy. Finally, after 20 minutes with his head down, the girlfriend leans over and whispers to the boyfriend, "I had no idea you were this religious." The boy turns, and whispers back, "I had no idea your father was a pharmacist."

  14. I put in an order to write TPR March 9 48-strike puts at $0.85. Only 2 executed before the price dropped. I still have an order in to write more if the price of the puts goes back up. Volatility is my friend.
  15. Thanks, actually 2 of the 185-strike puts and 2 of the 187.5 strike puts that I wrote at the same time. I wrote March 9 185-strike puts. Averaged around $3 per share for them. I had planned on writing some 52-strike BK puts but got busy and never got the order in before the price went back up.

  17. I've had the Kindle version for about 2 years, & so far it updates each year with the latest for FREE! The Kindle "Letter's to Shareholders" & the early partnership letters are must reads IMO. (Partnership letter pdf courtesy of CSInvesting.org) I was not aware of the free updates as that does not happen for me with my kindle. But when I went to my digital content on AMZN, there was an "update available" button next to several of my books. Clicking that got me the newest version of the BRK Letters to Shareholders. Thanks for bringing that to my attention!

  22. There was a thread on which books you have read more than once. I read this book a long time ago, but it has always been in the back of my mind to read it again. I loaned my copy to someone, and as usually the case with loaning books you never see them again. Today the kindle version is on sale for $1.99, which I have purchased. https://www.amazon.com/Mans-Search-Meaning-Viktor-Frankl-ebook/dp/B009U9S6FI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1514825252&sr=8-1&keywords=man%27s+search+for+meaning Edit: Frankl was a neurologist and psychiatrist who survived the Auschwitz concentration camp. The book is about the characteristics of those that survived.
  23. Thanks for calling our attention to this book. I have also ordered it!
