Maybe this year will be one of them years where if you eke out a 5% return, you're kicking almost everybody's ass
-
Maybe NTDOY is headed back to $14 haha
-
It feels like volatility may stay elevated throughout the year Should be good opportunities in futures and options for gamblers haha
-
Nicotine didn't tank baby PM another record high haha

My gambler's crystal ball sez... there's a better than 66.7% chance that you can buy back at a significant enough discount to make it worth your while sometime during the next 2 years!

Do you enjoy the process or just the proceeds?

Oh yea, maybe not a massive crash but a decade of disappointing returns, sure I think probably happens And the reason may come down to something mundane like falling birth rates everywhere, haha -

I don't think I'm an investor; I think I just make bets where the odds are in my favor (positive EV) and the financial markets offer great scalability, versus something like sports betting. The process of finding these bets can be interesting I like the money but also it's pretty funny to get it right and then laff in the faces of people who took the other side That's good stuff haha -
Who knows man But bring on the action! More volatility baby!

KO is good, I do this stuff with tobacco stocks But this month, MSTR puts were stone groove my man!

Yea and trading now is much better compared to the past. Cheap or free data, access to all kinds of markets from your phone, massive liquidity in futures and options, more newbies entering the markets due to increased accessibility keeping the game soft, and they're going to roll out 24 hour trading. Pretty great really

https://www.ft.com/content/3dad95df-0760-4c15-b9a2-c98b6ea1d1df My take is the demand for office will never be the same so you gotta find the right situation with the right assets at the right price... which seems difficult and risky and probably not worth it in terms of returns - maybe it's better to look for one foot hurdles like Old Man Buffett said But then again I've worked from home since spring 2020 so I'm clearly biased haha
-
Maybe but some sent replies at 2:30AM and one wanted to "discuss", like now I was like relax tuff guy, take it EZ

Yea I've worked with people who regularly send work emails at 2AM and I always thought better you than me, baby, better you than me

-
You right man, I'm not a value investor, I make bets and I take ideas from everywhere, as long as they're positive EV I'm a tobacco guy tho, not a crypto guru, haha
-
Well bro in NC, you don't have homeless junkies defecating into the concrete planters on the sidewalks of Wilshire Blvd either https://www.aqr.com/Insights/Perspectives/2035-An-Allocator-Looks-Back-Over-the-Last-10-Years this was good haha
