I think this is a safe (but volatile!) 12-15% IRR over the next 5 years even with some multiple compression down to 15X ANI.
Saluki Posted August 13, 2025 Posted August 13, 2025 Bought some VG at the open. Since it won one of the law suits in arbitration, the odds go up that might win the remaining law suits, since they are based on the same set of facts. I probably won't buy more since I have a couple of puts I sold that might get exercised, and I won't be upset if they do.

I get the overlap but Bollore owns only ~30% of Vivendi. Even without premium taking out Vivendi cost ~2B Euro on Cash. It‘s not insignificant and Bollore would need to offer a premium. On the other hand, I think french law only requires Bollore to offer the highest price they paid in the last 12 month. i am not even sure what this is after accounting for the spin, but it’s probably not much more than the current share price. So Bollore can probably just offer a lousy price unless they really want to take out Vivendi altogether.
Spekulatius Posted August 13, 2025 Posted August 13, 2025 (edited) Bought a little $GRG (Greggs) and $WDAY recently. I also added to $ACN and $ACVA. Edited August 14, 2025 by Spekulatius

Saluki Posted August 14, 2025 Posted August 14, 2025 I got a couple of fills on resting bids that I had for a nano cap. I'm finally over the $10k mark on it I may do a post on it, but I don't want to pump it since it's so small and I added a couple of more bids. Picked up a tiny amount of CROX the past couple of days.

moatrep Posted August 14, 2025 Posted August 14, 2025 I think the ADRs trade in the OTC, GGGSF. But I went with the pound one.

Malmqky Posted August 15, 2025 Posted August 15, 2025 Bought more crox today. I should avoid fashion but have convinced myself crox is a bit different. And obviously the valuation is unreal if margins don't collapse and management does the most obvious thing in the world and buyback stock.

Got some fills on a small illiquid company yesterday, TBTC. I started a post on it.
Saluki Posted August 15, 2025 Posted August 15, 2025 A couple of my VG puts that I sold expired today. If it was yesterday, I would be up, but VG was down hard today so I'll probably get assigned some shares by Monday. At these prices It looks good, and it's so volatile that I have a feeling I can offload anything I buy shortly and reload.
moatrep Posted August 18, 2025 Posted August 18, 2025 (edited) Big position in greggs and crocs, and small positons in swbi, paypal, rio tinto and constellation brands. Fairfax and elf.to still most of the portfolio. Edited August 18, 2025 by moatrep
dipod Posted August 18, 2025 Posted August 18, 2025 Sold some OTM puts on CROX expiring this week. Premiums are quite good. Risk-reward on assignment/no assignment seems reasonable to me.
