Dalal.Holdings Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Just to be clear to the foreigners, this is the type of stuff the American people have chosen to vote against: Good luck being ruled by these types. The U.S. will leave you in the dust.

Instead of consulting your textbooks, please consult what actually happened during Trump's first term when he implemented tariffs against China (the largest exporter to the USA). These tariffs will hurt China/Canada/Mexico far more than the USA. The USA is the world's top consumption oriented economy. If you want to have access to it and sell your products into the USA, you'll have to stop screwing us over and/or pay the fine.

The problem is that Covid occurred in that time period so there is not clear data on the effect of the tariffs in the 1st term in isolation. Yes, we are "screwing you over" by providing you with minerals, auto parts, oil, etc. that you need. Your leader and policies are irrational.
Junior R Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Eventually after the pain Canada will start densifying which is a bad thing long-term for the US..Same iwth Mexico...I think the missing piece here is what does Trump want Canada to do to remove the Tariffs its not clear as Canada is fixing its boarder
cubsfan Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 15 minutes ago, Spooky said: And how is the current plan going to fix these things? Tariffs will cause inflation and hurt the economy. Contrary to popular belief most crime is not committed by immigrants. As said many times, national security is worth some economic hardship. We'll make it through and adjust. You are so wrong about crime committed by illegals. There are 500,000 open deportation orders for criminal illegal aliens. 500,000. Biden & the sanctuary city mayors protect them and block their deportation.

Try not to get too hysterical otherwise it will be an agonizing 4 years for you... The U.S. government is currently undergoing some restructuring to come out better (leaner, more capable) on the other side. We'll be leaving Canada/Europe even further behind in the dust, to be crushed under the weight of massive bureaucracies and leftist regimes that run those places...good luck. You've had these restructurings in the past...you've never left Canada in the dust...if anything Canada managed to keep up. Cheers!

Ya pissing off your neighbours and biggest trading partners to meet some amorphous "national security" goal is really going to work. Bravo.

Trump began his trade war in January 2018, 2 years before covid. No inflation to be seen in that time. If you want to sell to the economy containing world's largest consumers, you'll have to do many things. Here are some places to start: -- Fix your migration issues (and don't send them across the border to us) -- Spend lots more on defense -- Stop over-regulating our companies -- Stop censoring free speech, especially trying to force our companies to do so etc

What are you even talking about. Your demands don't even make sense. We should be spending more on defence, with friends like you who needs enemies.

Don't confuse the facts...you don't deal well with the truth! Cheers!

The economy is of course going to be great when deficits are 7% of GDP--WW2 levels. Bidenomics!

There are only 2 issues that would have elected Kamala - that she won in the polls. 1- Abortion 2- I am not Donald Trump That was her entire campaign. All other issues - the lunatic Democrats lost in a landslide.
