So, yeah there is a lot of bullshit thrown his way in comedic and stupid attacks, but there are a SHITLOAD of questions that are legitimate as well, that would be asked of any leader.  Cheers!

Exactly! Lots of questions. Yet see how many of these losers purport to have ANSWERS(or direct knowledge) LOL. Despite carrying a track record of being wrong about pretty much anything related to Trump as far as previous predictions go! Its truly a spectacle to behold.

No one said that. But you need to ask yourself...whos responsible for giving him that spotlight? Ive said a gazillion times that I generally support where he stands on policy...but I havent watched or heard anything he's said since maybe, election night? Meanwhile people whom apparently hate him and get wood every time theres a whiff of a Trump rumor are listening to his every speech, stalking his twitter and truth social(lmfao) accounts, and falling victim to every rage bait piece pumped out by "journalists" and politicians whom share their obsession.....so weird.

Kind of like when he held on to the "birther movement" or "fake elections" like an angry pitbull ripping apart a chihuahua?  Who is responsible for giving him that spotlight?  Cheers!

Didnt someone yesterday make a comment about a guy walking by himself not being a leader, just a guy walking? I dont think it's just the rednecks watching Fox that have always existed that catapulted this, at least by themselves, do you? Could it possibly be all the networks that saw "anything Trump = big ratings"?

Yeah sure...a big part of is his personality, behavior and like you said...TDS.  He gets under people's skin...he's very good at it!  But to say there is too much scrutiny...probably...but much of it is self-perpetuating and he's the one who got it started in the first place.  Greg, he just bombed the shit out of Iran without any sort of approval...then he needs help to open up the Strait...of course, people are going to jump on that.  It might be annoying, but it's not any different than if any other leader did the exact same thing...especially the "Leader of the Free World?!"  Cheers!

Never said that…and the point of Trump’s new talking point (protesters have no guns, 32,000 dead, nobody that brave) which he is now repeating with the same frequency as the election was stolen mantra is well I assume his intelligence folks are telling him that the regime has actually tightened its grip further, that bombing the country incl. killing 150 school girls has created a rally around the flag phenomenon for the regime and so his dream of rising after the bombing stops has dropped off a cliff.

Being kind to Trump let’s call it expectation management.

Being unkind to Trump I think his new mantra is an admission that the war is already tracking to not result in its core strategic objective being met and he’s doing what he does best getting his excuses in early and often.

There are a lot of things that could have been executed better. I agree. I myself believe that reform has to come from within. But I guess we are on an accelerated time schedule.

You are also correct that regime has tighten and closed ranks. But if that is not sign of weakness I don’t know what is. On the school, it is a tragedy what happened. Should have never happened, if the whole thing wasn’t so half baked.

But knowing Iranian people as a whole, no matter their political affiliation, what probably did the most damage (wasn’t that tragedy) but the following Trump random message: “it is possible that the border may change or may not change”.

That statement did so much damage. Of course Trump probably didn’t mean anything by it. He just randomly says things. But the regime capitalized on that with an IRR of 400% on invested capital.

———

PS: this week is the Festival of Fire and Nowruz in Iran. Ancient tradition celebrated every year for centuries. Usually these are held in every street and main squares.

The regime has decreed that people shouldn’t celebrate Festival of Fire for “security reasons”; instead they are flooding their own base in the main squares and denying the people of their heritage.

On the other hand, you have the Israeli prime minister wishing the people happy Nowruz and festival of fire.

Who do you think is winning the hearts and mind ?

Some of these issues are legitimate:

  • Is there a plan?  Well, the initial attacks went well, but obviously they weren't ready for the Strait to be closed otherwise they wouldn't say shit like "we've won already in the first day!"  Now they need help.
  • Do they have enough ammunition?  Were they prepared for the massive amount of cheap drones used?  That's not a stupid question to ask...it's a numbers game...it's a price per bullet game.  People are always concerned after Vietnam or nearly 10 years in Iraq!
  • What is the objective...when the President keeps flipping between them?!

So, yeah there is a lot of bullshit thrown his way in comedic and stupid attacks, but there are a SHITLOAD of questions that are legitimate as well, that would be asked of any leader.  Cheers!

So... do you believe the Straight of Hormuz is permanently closed?  IMO its actually a good thing temporarily, maybe other countries will feel some pain and act accordingly.  And when in the history of mankind has a party to a military conflict ever been better prepared?  Only a warped mind would believe that we could possibly prepare for every conceivable variable.  Or one that sits in meetings rather than fights necessary battles.

Sure.  But that's how Fox News, Newsmax, etc all came into being as well.  Including the powerful right wing movements through Social Media.  Do you think the left is winning the media battle right now?  Literally every American oligarch who kowtows to Trump now controls mainstream media.  When Rupert Murdoch is the paragon of independent news...well you know the left is fucked!  Cheers!

No, of course not permanently closed.  Pain will be felt in the U.S. as well...they are not immune...especially with their lack of belief in vaccinations!  🤣  Cheers!

Head of U.S. Counterterrorism, Joe Kent, has resigned saying Israel exerted undue influence on the U.S. and indirectly pushed the U.S. into this war with Iran.  He's a Trump supporter!  Kent said that Iran posed no imminent threat!  Cheers!

You keep talking like this is some Hollywood celebrity hawking skincare.  He's the President of the US.  And you find it odd to follow his insane antics and comment on him? He has bombed what, 8 countries?  Imposed illegal tariffs.  Started trade and relationship wars with our closest allies. And continues to bury the Epstein files.  But it's silly to comment on that?

And the irony is that you guys are the ones posting more.than anyone here about how much everyone else is posting and commenting.

Yep - its a pity POTUS has a surface level knowledge of Iran....anybody who realized half million Iranian's died fighting against Iraq to protect those borders relatively recently would never utter such words - there is likely not a family in Iran that wasn't touched by the loss of life during that conflict. About the dumbest thing you could say actually.

As I've said a zillion times about Trump......some good ideas......insanely poorly executed to the point of sabotage.

In case you didn’t get the memo, you were relegated to the little boys table. Sanjeev and I were speaking.

And to clarify, I know that might excite you given the Epstein obsession, but it’s akin to a demotion, not a pay raise or a bonus!

As usual, you were speaking about a nebulous group of people never to be named but always to be referenced.  Its like you feel your points have no validity unless there's a "they" to argue with.

But hey, keep posting about how crazy it is for people to keep posting.

I believe it would be in EU interest to go out and try to open the strait. I don't have an opinion on the war, but would love to see that EU leaders finally would start acting in our best interest.

I'm also aligned with our prime minister, Bart De Wever, that we should try to reach a deal with Russia. Just do the smart thing, instead of the (political) correct one. We need cheap energy to be able to compete vs. rest of the world - not a favourable position, but it's gravity so better find a way to cope with it.

Hey, a real adult in the room!  Bravo!

No doubt the anti-semitic slurs are only minutes/hours away.

Tucker Carlson knows him and said - “Joe is the bravest man I know, and he can’t be dismissed as a nut,” Mr. Carlson said. “He’s leaving a job that gave him access to highest-level relevant intelligence. The neocons will now try to destroy him for that. He understands that and did it anyway.”

In some ways (even before the midterms) we are watching MAGA fracture......tough sledding for them at 2026 Mid-terms and then the Presidential in 2028.....the MAGA movement looks alot like humpty dumpty, all the kings horses and all the kings mean wont be able to put it back together again.....but as I've pointed out before Trump doesn't want the GOP to succeed without him, he doesn't want the MAGA coalition to continue beyond him, he wants the GOP to fail when he's gone......what will please his ego most is to see a Democratic President succeed him and so to the extent he can make that happen by undermining Rubio or Vance he will do that. He wants to be able to say that the GOP was nothing before he got there and its nothing after he's left. Remember its all about Captain Chaos and always will be he is a congenital narcissist.

Gotta give this man credit - he did the honorable thing and resigned - instead of trying to sabotage the administration.  Good for him.

I'm really glad he's not President!

$5bn is pocket change for these guys....if Jared promises to whisper in Daddy's ear that it's time to wrap things up and let the Middle East get back to the business of making money!

I've always felt that the way this ends is the M.E. guys figure out a way to make the war ending a lucrative 'deal' for the Trump family.....Jared is one conduit....Thing One (Eric) and Thing Two (Don Jnr) are another.....they have plenty of other vehicles (PE, crypto, public listings) that are suitable.

The tell for this thing getting wrapped up is he'll put Marco Rubio in over Jared and Steve.....it cant be that far away.

Posted (edited)

Good reminder that whenever Trump says somebody told him XYZ that conveniently fits with what he's trying to sell (in this case the war in Iran)...he's completely making it up.

This time - he's been caught making up something a former President "told him".....so dumb its not even funny:
