Appeals court allows Trump to deploy National Guard in that downward spiraling, cesspool of a city called Portland, Oregon.

Tragic what has happened to Portland...they used to have the best brunches in North America and now...well, it's all gone to hell with an invasion of Mexican delicacies and Korean pho.  And the food trucks...oh my God...there are food trucks everywhere!  The citizens are now fearful of inflatable dinosaurs and frogs roaming the city attacking ICE officials.

I remember going to Portland in the good old days...30-40 years ago or so...when there were plenty of jackboot, white supremist groups all over the city and countryside.  Oh, how do I yearn for the good old days, when a lone immigrant or minority walked the streets around dinnertime and had the privilege of chewing on some rubber soles as a joyful group of white supremists kicked in their teeth and curb-stomped them to death!  I can see how President Trump wants to bring back the good old days!

Now, there's just Michelin-star restaurant after Michelin-star restaurant catering to the wild, flannel-shirted, toque-wearing hooligans who call themselves "Foodies"!  Most of the male Foodies have unkempt beards and the female Foodies tend to wear long, hipster dresses.  Exactly, what they want, no one knows, since they are never satisfied and constantly post pictures of their food in social media to sway voters and instigate riots.  Insane what has happened to Portland!  Cheers!

Yes, a weird and certainly worrying trait [feature?] of POTUS' behavior, leadership, managerial style that can have major consequences for the World is his pleasing [positive attitude, admiration?] attitude towards and and view of autocratic leaders such as Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, all while he's lingering, and appear undecisive on such matters.

I have asked myself the question who in Europe alreday have Tomahawk missiles, and how many, and have been doing a some searches for such information revealed the only information quickly available, that they are available in Europe only on United Kingdom Royal Navy submarines.

The recent war on the rocks podcast has good info on the tomahawk missiles. In short: the whole discussion is a bit of a smokescreen, since they need to be launched from ships, and workarounds to launch from land are not efficient or would take ages.

Yeah, also ref. the same link as Jeffs [ @DooDiligences] in my post, there seem to be variant perceptions of the feasibility of Tomahawk missiles based on land.

What is the source of information provided by the war on rocks podcast of the feasibility of landbased Tomahawk missiles for Ukraine?

IIRC they said the U.S. just does not have these land based launch systems in quantity, and they would not want to give away all they have. Also, they said it is not as powerful of a weapon vs military infrastructure as one may think. I'm too lazy to listen to it again...

Facts are overrated. it’s always better to go with your gut.

I’m flabbergasted as an American that we aren’t donating all our high end weapons to some random country that looks like it’s in Russia but also could be considered Europes problem….yawn.

We're long past 'US donating' now, Greg [ @Gregmal ],. and for obvious reasons, also ref. you. This is about 'gear, hardware, stuff' for 'green'.

Played by Putin, nobody else.

The US has a long history of propping up countries that are in its national interest. Argentina is no different. Helping the Millei government is a good thing for the world, and in countering China. Otherwise they keep getting bailed out by the IMF anyway, which is mostly funded by the US.

Trump the dictator does a good thing yet again. Gotta give credit where it’s due!
