You’re right that some people absolutely used Ms. Zarutska’s murder to make a political point, specifically, to call out perceived media bias or what they see as selective outrage. And there does appear to be a case for that.  I mean the media was all over Daniel Penny who was trying to neutralize a menace, someone who others in the subway car were frightened of.  Throw in the young lady’s refugee status, her being in America to be safe and we ultimately didn’t protect her.  One story was an immediate media sensation.  The other not. Maybe from your political point of view you could frame it just because it’s a MAGA narrative doesn’t mean there’s not truth to it.  And of course you are free to disagree.  Regards.

The Vice Presdent compared Trump to Hitler.  And nobody is suggesting all Republicans are pedos.  Just those associated with Epstein (same with Democrats associated with Epstein).  

 

And the whole "you can tell who done it"? I recall Cubsfan on here blaming the left for Melissa Hortman and saying the killers wife interned for some Democrat.  When all that proved completely wrong was there any apology?  Any acknowledgement that, once again, it was an extreme gun toting Trump supporter?

 

Nobody deserves to be shot and killed.  Not Charlie Kirk and not kids at school.  But I see you fomenting the very division that drives the hatred.

Not really. I mean what exactly do democrats stand for? Even on these threads(comprised of generally above average intelligence people) we see rationalization of crime, complete disregard for pretty harrowing statistics on the demographic of those perpetrators, even open acknowledgement that “no one should care” and that “a certain amount is ok”. What else is there to the platform? A feeling of entitlement to the confiscation of the wages of others? “Standing with” people with mental disorders that manifest by way of violence on the innocent?

What are you talking about?  The killers wife interned for Congressman Tim Walz when he was in DC.

It's really great to see the FBI actually doing their job instead of investigating parents at school boards or protesters in front of abortion clinics.

Again, all encompassing. Youre taking extremists and extrapolating that to half the country thereby forcing people who dont even come close to that extremism to defend thmself and take the other side. Ive seen 10x the number of posts from Democratic politicians saying how tragic Kirk's death was vs those who did the same for Holman or Pelosi's husband.  

 

Painting everyone with a brush of extremism is divisive and just plain wrong.

So, let’s look at North Carolina. Honestly it’s not even bad compared to many other places. Yet, you ask…how the fuck did someone with that record get cut loose so many times? And the answer is…because that’s what the people there found acceptable when they voted. Plain and simple. There’s parts of the country where a candidate who even whiffs of potentially being soft on crime…never gets anywhere close to being elected. The people there choose that this is not acceptable. And I think that’s part of the problem with a lot of the Libs….especially the wealthy, safe estate dwelling ones that don’t have to live with the consequences of their voting…they are too wrapped up in voting to satisfy personal virtue signal like luxury beliefs, or against candidates who’s “personalities” they don’t like…and they totally ignore the policies they’re voting for.

Thats not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about painting half the country with a brush based on a couple of extreme comments from people. Its like saying all Republicans think like Charlie Kirk or Laura Loomer. Not.even close to being true. 

 

North Carolina has a Democratic governor and a very Republican congress.  Blaming an entire party across the country for a single incident is exactly the problem. Crime rates in Red states are generally higher than Blue states.  You will never eliminate crime or crazies no matter what you do.

Exactly my point. I have never painted anyone who supports Trump as a racist because they support Trump. I am capable of differentiating the issues from the person.  For example you and Sweet - i disagree with a lot of what you believe or support but you at least do it with independent analysis and thought and often express disagreement with trump where your views differ.  Others I say are in a cult because they dont appear to have independent views and blindly support issues solely because Trump said it.

It is also not a single incident. This was a single instance of somebody with that many run ins with the law being free to commit another crime. But there’s plenty of these instances, and overwhelmingly, always in liberal run areas, and are the result of liberal politics, that the people of those areas voted for. How else does someone with that many priors, or in NYC where you have these subway terrorists with 4-5 dozen arrests, remain free on the streets; how does that happen???

That's going to be the case anywhere in the country. People with rap sheets as long as your arm exist in every state and every county and every city in the country.  If you knew in advance which ones would turn into killers vs rehabilitate it would be easy!  Just as if you knew who was going to kill people with that new rifle they bought you could stop them.  People will never, ever agree on where that line should be drawn.

Thanks, and you’re not a crazy on the left.  Notably when the Kirk news broke you were the first to say it was awful.  Most others here have said nothing like it.
