Being familiar about BRK like most of us are, I find that number staggering. I think this is the first time I've realized the size of it.
-
Just tried that using your user name. I didn't realize we were neighbours. :D

I also use Netvibes. I miss my iGoogle homepage though but that's more for the other widgets like sports scores etc. I just learned about page2rss.com . Sometimes Netvibes can be picky on what it thinks is a feed rather than a basic webpage. Basically you can turn any page into a recognizable feed and it will send changes on the page to Netvibes.

The skin tone I see is white. Look where I mentioned the grey hair up by the neck/ear. -
Yes, I should have added I was using Mebane Faber's CAPE for Greece and Ireland.
-
For year end 2012 I thought the cheapest were Greece and Ireland.

WEB on CNBC Monday with Ted, Todd, and Traci

I think that depends on how he structures the new CEO's responsibilities. -
I thought I was the only one who noticed all these years. ;D

Tracy Britt, definitely. He looks too old to be Ted based on the grey hair (you can just make it out above the collar on the left) and the squarish mid section. My guess is WEB himself, flashy pants and all. -

Maybe Buffett and Combs are Spritzers? Imagine how many pages they would read if they could speed up their reading to 500 or 1000 wpm and not have to physically turn pages. ;D -
I'm no environmentalist but with the bitter cold we've had in Southern Ontario, the global warming hypothesis has been brought up a few times. Those who support it claim that a sign of global warming is temperature fluctuation like we've seen this year. These may be the same people who believe in EMT though. ;D

Yeah, after the round robin I thought playing for a bronze would have been all they could hope for. The Canadian sports media were saying they played better this time around than the round robin than in Vancouver 2010, the defence would win them the tournament etc....... It says a lot when you can get 20 of the best players in the world to buy in to a defensive game plan like they did. Pretty cool settlement of the Canada/U.S. bet too........................and they finally spelled neighbours right. :P From John Kerry to John Baird

After playing around with these couple of sites, SEClive is pretty easy to navigate and I love the layout.
-
Wasn't sure if I should start a new thread or not, I found this one today, http://rankandfiled.com/ I've just had a quick look but it seems you can stream filings by type, search SEC filings or search and export to excel.

I was going to post on it this morning but didn't want to jinx anything. Canada/U.S. is always close on both the men's and women's side but 1-0 is crazy. The comeback yesterday was even more crazy. Lets hope they have something left in the tank for the game against Sweden.

Good site for hedge fund letters?
augustabound replied to ZenaidaMacroura's topic in General Discussion
http://www.hedgefundletters.com/ Apparently they're relaunching but I don't know when (their Twitter has been dry since June). The list of letters is pretty extensive from what I remember. -
I saw a video of a speech she did a few years ago. That's the way she is. Beyond boring with that folksy southern drawl from what I remember.

He offered a course through Coursera last year that was pretty interesting. https://www.coursera.org/course/behavioralecon It's not currently being offered but you can check back since these courses on Coursera tend to run again after 8 or 10 months. Having said that, this one was from last March so hopefully he will open it up again.

is that you Joe, or do you just like the name/site (fwallstreet)? I wondered the same thing but knew it wasn't Joe by one of his posts. ;D -
No, we moved from Toronto a few years ago to Newmarket. Slim picking for magazines here. :)

Not OID related but I'm interested in nextissue.ca, which is only available for iOS, Android and Windows 8. Is there a similar workaround for it with a Windows 7 machine? Would Virtual Box work?
