Expectations have changed. The people who get married and have kids are also the people who are happy not having the biggest house, nicest car, hottest partner, or best career. I agree with much of what you said except the stolen term. He had a team handling all that crap. He had time to advance his agenda, he got some major legislation passed, new trade deals etc. He had a Republican majority in the Senate and impeachment was never going to happen.
