Exactly, that’s why I said this will help our affordability crisis. Rent / housing prices should continue to fall as there is less demand chasing the same supply. If MC can also accelerate housing starts then that should accelerate addressing the affordability crisis. I am cautiously optimistic but I like what I see so far.

Don’t forget, MC is also addressing immigration levels - Temporary resident / international students will see a significant decline. PR will see a slight decline from 2025 numbers. These changes will continue to help the affordability crisis our country is facing.

I find that comment deeply offensive. However, I oppose Zionism because it involves the expansion of a state where one ethnic group is privileged over another, leaving the other group permanently disenfranchised and under continuous military occupation. Doesn’t that bother you at all on a human level? I have numerous orthodox Jewish friends who have exactly the same view and adamantly against Israel which is an apartheid state.

How about the innocent Palestinian who were murdered before Oct 7th by the Israeli government? It’s not like Israelis let the Palestinians live in peace and then Oct 7th happened and everything changed.
