  1. Somewhere, sometime soon, Blake is about to tell you he chooses Dalio's opinion over yours....
  2. Sure, but at some point you gotta know when to hold em and know when to fold em. These clowns are putting their entire citizen population at risk because apparently they think having a few liberals claiming that as long as they(anonymously of course, because the named ones keep dying) survive, and as long as there’s disruption in the SOH, they’re…..winning? It’s like a boxing match where at some point a ref needs to step in and either convince them to step down, or take them out in a straight jacket.
  3. This also shows how fucked up these anonymous tough guy hardliners in Iran are. Now calling for children to protect power plants! While they hide out in bunkers? It’s clear they finally ran into a bully more invested in tough guy “never back down” rhetoric than they are, with a more potent military. And rather than just admit they’re over their head they keep running their mouths, putting more civilians at risk, and hoping a few deranged liberals and western media outlets will tell the world they’re “winning”…. I’m so over this shitshow.
  4. It’s unreal. At some point you’d think, maybe most folks deserve to have AI take over? They want to be brainless!
  5. lol the next phase of liberal TDS brain rot…everyone’s entitled to nukes!
  6. Idk what will happen, but I’ve heard that in the age of total uselessness and lethargy, you can get all the answers by asking AI and then double checking the predictions markets….
  7. Yup. That’s why any retard liberal who even wants to breathe “Russia” as a concern, needs to be asked who they voted for that election. And if it was that guy, just tell em to STFU and eat it. https://www.salon.com/2012/10/23/obama_the_80s_called_they_want_their_foreign_policy_back/
  8. Even better is how these retards ignored Bidens obvious mental issues for 3.5 years, and now to “get back” at that embarrassment, fabricate a new “Trump health issue” every 3 weeks….as if they’re doctors or something LOL oh, he hasn’t given a presser in 17 hours, must be having a stroke!
  9. When investing, there’s also things called “impairments”. Some “permanent”. Losing friends, family, assets that impact your quality of life, those things, to civilians, are hardly worth any sort of philosophical longer term “victory”. You lose a child in a war, 10-15 years later you still won’t be made whole. Not to mention no one has even seen or heard from the Supreme Leader, in how long? He’s at best, living in some bunker, probably deformed, with no improvement on the horizon. This is “winning”? I think it’s becoming more and more apparent that ideological hardliners on both sides are selling everybody a giant crock of shit as some future Golden Ticket to Willy Wonkas chocolate factory.
  10. Just “surviving” is a pitifully low bar for “winning”…as is “the SOH is still disrupted”. The cost of this “win” to civilians is absurd. It’s the same bs propaganda we hear about Ukraine…I can guarantee that those whom have lost any combination of friends, family, assets, or quality of life component, don’t consider this a win. Civilization has come too far to set such a low bar for “winning”.
  11. The propaganda really is startling. Americans didnt ask for this, nonetheless its become another one of our burdens to bear. Tax dollars hard at work....More and more kids are starting to be sent overseas and the engagement seems inevitable. With engagement comes more fatalities. Iran "winning" is also quite insane/delusional...everything they have is being bombed to the detriment of their civilian population, no one even knows who's in charge cuz everyone who pops their head up gets whacked, and "we got a jet or two" after 30 days is akin to boasting about capturing a pawn when 3/4 of your pieces have been taken off the board in chess... total shitshow all around. Hardliners on both sides continue to fuck their people.
  12. Totally. Don’t like something? Either change it, or learn to live with it.
  13. Remember when we had a recession under Biden and the everyone just lied about it and later changed the definition of recession? Also, recall how we all got on with our lives, and are still here today, despite that boogeyman “recession”?
  14. Inevitable imo. That’s exactly what’s going to happen
  15. I’m starting to see a massive short opportunity in energy/oil. Haven’t quite figured out the most optimal way to play it. But it’s soooo apparent there’s a glut of I hate Trump/he so stupid guys euphoric on “oil to infinity”, as is there a glut of conspiracy theory maga loving oil bulls. That’s gotta be like 80% of the forces behind the market/narrative right now, and it’s gonna fade spectacularly.
  16. Generally an acceptable way to spend the morning!
  17. Well, to be fair, I think he saw pretty quickly how much of a waste of time it is trying to do anything "the traditional way" in his first term. All people do is undermine him, so it's easy to see why he just says fuck em.
  18. It's just drama, youre right. Cashed out my VIX calls at the open, leaving a free ticket to any weekend fireworks on the table, then went to the beach. Seriously though, it's something to behold. I was talking to a friend this AM about how one really needs to appreciate this volatility. We probably wont have a volatility machine like Trump again for awhile, as the combination of Trump being batshit crazy, such a high % of the populous being utterly deranged when it comes to dealing with anything tangentially related to Trump, and then Trump being a slave to the stock market...oh boy its a wicked fun concoction. I mean every time Trump uses the wrong adjective, we get a mental breakdown and a trading opportunity LOL whats not to like? We can sit around and do the attention seeking drama bullshit.... -"If gas goes to $7 a gallon".... the world will get on with itself just as we have before, but heck, then everyone temporarily gets to see what it'd be like living in California or Europe....so what? -"It might tip us into a recession"...OK and? LOL those happen sometimes -"the market could go down"....so what? LOL Whole lotta drama, lot of easy trading/vol money out there to grab, but Id gander just like normal, ones OK simply ignoring the crowds of hysterics and flavor of the month macro pontificators. This should be in the rearview shortly....folks will get on with their lives, and folks will move on to gossiping about the next stupid/crazy/genius thing Trump decides to feed them.
  19. Man... what an awesome morning. Always interesting watching folks
  20. WTF? They promised us tacos and off ramps? Did they lie?
  21. Exactly. I’d have bet twice as much on a post speech selloff if I had DWI and crew sounding off with their contra conviction!
  22. No one asked what you think. You must raise your hand in order to be called on. Kids table rules. Only reason your forecasts weren’t foolishly wrong like they normally are is because you kept quiet lol.
  23. This is the whole thing. Trump is sinisterly smart and conniving. Elite level salesman and extremely good feeling out the pulse of the consensus and manipulating everything and everyone else to his advantage. The biggest fools and reason we are here is all these “Trump so stupid” assholes lol. Tonight was just so obvious, but the imbeciles en masse rested upon the stupid media made “Trump TACO” narrative.
  24. I’m just here to make money off it. It’s like having a body of water that’s crystal clear; and then someone drops in a substance that to some is heavily confusing and distorts the clarity. To others, the water is still clear.
  25. The key with Trump is to ignore the narrative. Everyone gets the narrative wrong because there’s so much noise and deliberate misdirection. Because Trump is shysty and a lot of folks/media have TDS. Whats important? What’s he doing? And why is he saying what he’s saying. That’s all one needs to pay attention to. Those folks that are hung up on rhetoric like “he said 4 weeks and it’s been 34 days” will just never get it. He’s been feeling out the market, feeling out Iran, feeling out the Fed, feeling out the media, this was bothersomely orchestrated. Prediction, he’ll escalate and then bounce in a couple weeks, leaving everyone who needs that oil to figure it out. Giving himself just enough time to rack up some wins in time for midterms. I don’t think it’ll be enough, but it’s par for the course for how he operates.
