  1. TACO, TACO man...I want to be a TACO man...TACO, TACO man...I want to be a TACO! Wow, this thing has taken off like crazy. If you Google "Trump as taco man", you get more photos than if you typed in "Sydney Sweeney"! Cheers!
  2. I think Biden will be a distant memory as well. The pardons and hiding the dementia (probably the cancer as well) and supporting an idiot son like Hunter...I feel sorry for Biden, but him and Lady Macbeth will be forgotten in history. But Obama...yeah, he is stuck not only in the MAGA heads, but Trump's head too! Trump wishes he was Obama...other than Michelle...Trump knows Obama could pull even better than Melania! Cheers!
  3. You know, as many of us benefit from this, the border towns on the Canada/US border are just getting creamed! These poor people...traffic is down 50% pre-Trump/tariffs. Many of them have a few restaurants, retailers, grocers...they rely on Canadian consumers. Just getting hammered and many don't know how long they can hold on. Point Roberts, a weird peninsula surrounded by water on three sides and the U.S. border on the fourth, is close to being decimated by a lack of Canadian/Vancouver consumers. They have one grocery store, and the owner has take on tremendous debt since the Pandemic to keep serving the small U.S. community, but no one gives two shits. Once their one grocery store closes down, they will have to cross the border to buy what they need. Really sad situation for a lot of people caught in the middle! Cheers!
  4. LOL! I think Vance is more suited to being Rosco. Cheers!
  5. Nice Dealraker! Although I think you have me beat already, as my 19% annualized was excluding PDH. I'm working on that! META is still not expensive. I wouldn't hold 100%, but it isn't overvalued either. If you can reduce it without paying too much tax, you might want to manage that risk, but on a forward earnings basis, it's at fair value. Cheers!
  6. It just proves we are living in a simulation. He's literally a cartoon character from television or film...Boss Hogg from the Dukes of Hazard or maybe Kingpin from Daredevil. Keep sucking on the blue pill Cubs, I'm taking the red pill! Cheers!
  7. +1! Cheers!
  8. No avocadoes and olives for you! Come back in exactly 4 years! NNNEEXXXXTTT! Cheers!
  9. Hmmm...not going to go down that road. Without a doubt, the U.S. has more than paid for its obligations, including UN, global research funding, global aid, etc. For all the complaints about Trump, the U.S.' previous administrations and even Trump in his first term, maintained U.S. obligations and responsibilities. That's a hill no one should climb and question. Look at China now taking up $500M in obligations for WHO after Trump pulled out. Yes, much of the U.S. support was based on its expansionary obligations, but just as much wasn't. So credit where credit is due! Cheers!
  10. +1! Cheers!
  11. Hey, I didn't vote for Trudeau. But after Dubya and Bama dealt with Iraq and Afghanistan, the world had a fair amount of peace for those 11 years. Thus the slackline attitude towards military spending by many countries. Cheers!
  12. Not rooting for failure. Just Trump keeps failing or at least chickening out! I agree with many of his policies...just not the way they were implemented. And apparently most of the world, including his own cabinet, have their doubts about it. And now we are seeing him back down alot on these chainsaw like implementations. This guy likes TACO too! But he already knew that years ago! Cheers!
  13. Canada has agreed to increase their spending...long-term target for Carney is 3% of GDP. They will also put money into the "Gold Dome" missile shield. Canada had 88 F-35's on order, but suspended them as soon as Trump went off his rocker and started throwing tariffs around like farts. I expect once things go back to normal, the order will be unsuspended. They are also ordering a bunch of subs, missile batteries, and increasing the Canadian infantry by 20%. That still will barely hit 2%, so Canada will be spending hundreds of billion more buying U.S. and European military equipment. But probably not until Trump changes his attitude! Cheers!
  14. You can argue that two ways: One, there are those that are perma-bears and hold cash regardless of opportunities. That's not me. Two, there are those that hold significant amounts of cash when they can't find great ideas, but pour it into the markets gleefully when they do appear. That's me. Cheers!
  15. Other than sealing down the southern border, what has he accomplished in this term so far? Half the ideas that were on his mandate, either he backed down or the courts had him back down. Even Harvard is willing to go to war with him...Putin isn't listening...Bibi is doing what he wants...Elon left...big spending bill is spending, but not paying down the deficit or debt...gender war is sort of at a stalemate...half the people he fired were rehired...etc. The only thing the Trump offense is killing it at is making a shit load of money for the Trump empire! And it's certainly a sight to behold, while we all pinch our nose at the stench! Cheers!
  16. When I said "superstition" I didn't mean to belittle the pre-game ritual. I was just saying that they are exactly what they are...pre-game rituals. Some people do it for comfort, routine, preparation, etc...but in many cases it is also OCD...they feel they need to prepare exactly the same way, since they've enjoyed success in the past doing that ritual. One that many soccer players do is ball name up or ball name down on a penalty kick. I always kicked the penalty with the name on top, dead center. If the name was off a little, I have to adjust the ball. Golfers do this all the time as well before they putt. Cheers!
  17. Remember, RV sales spiked during the Pandemic so that they could travel...very different than people spending money in 2006-2007 piling on debt while mortgages were going to go underwater dramatically. Cheers!
  18. Yeah, let's leave the gruesome pictures out of the site...I deleted the ones with the two sick children as well. Cheers!
  19. Ahhh, let's not feel sorry for Elon. Arguably the smartest man in the world doesn't know when he's being used by arguably the stupidest man in the world? He was perfectly fine prancing around Mara-Lago, giving the Nazi salute on stage and funding Trump's campaign with $300M...poor Elon...fucker is getting what he deserved! Cheers!
  20. I agree with you Blugolds, but does Hamas sell some aid for funding for weapons? What about the billions they have skimmed off global aid to Palestine? If their people are starving, it's partly because Hamas has put the annihilation of Israel over the lives of their people. I think both sides have been guilty of betraying peace talks and cease fires. I have no interest in seeing children starve or die. But the sad fact remains that Israel has the money, the power, the clout and a leader doing everything to stay in power. Only when things end will the world be able to take on Bibi as a war criminal. And the way things are stacked...that only happens with the end of Hamas. Cheers!
  21. The thing is that Bibi has the people's support. At least until the hostages are released. Bibi has Trump's support...whether the hostages are released or not. That means Bibi will still be provided the artillery they need to wipe out Hamas. The longer it goes...the more innocents will die. Hamas does not want to give up control. They know they will lose a great deal, but how much. They don't honestly care about the lives of the innocents, as long as their cause is fulfilled or they will live to fight another day. That is why Hamas doesn't give up the remaining hostages. It is their only bargaining chip left, since Bibi has shown he does not put the lives of the innocents above the lives of Israelis. And if that is the tradeoff, the people will support Bibi until his last breath. Bibi also knows his time is done when the people stop supporting him...so the lives of Israeli's it is versus the lives of innocents. Cheers!
  22. I see the other side as well...why not turn over the remaining hostages as a show of good will? If Israel attacks after that, the world will turn against them. But if Israel allows a ceasefire and humanitarian aid once the hostages are returned, then we at least have some hope for both sides. Why isn't Hamas turning over the remaining hostages? Cheers!
  23. OCD in general public - 1.6 to 2.3% https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/9490-ocd-obsessive-compulsive-disorder OCD in athletes - double the amount within the average athlete population and far, far higher in professional athletes https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8785425/ Cheers!
  24. Again, not mansplaining...just splaining. Cheers! https://www.nhl.com/news/goalies-explain-reasons-and-origins-of-preperiod-ice-scrape#:~:text=“It is a good way, that's part of our routine.” https://www.yardbarker.com/nba/articles/anthony_davis_reveals_lebron_james_bizarre_pregame_ritual_involving_full_uniform_layout/s1_16751_42238703
  25. Yup! Last week, IDF soldiers shot at a Canadian envoy group visiting Gaza to see the humanitarian crisis. Cheers!
