Ahhhhh, the humiliation is now complete! Cheers! https://ca.news.yahoo.com/kristi-noem-devastated-over-report-184240763.html

History runs both ways...Israel is guilty of many things, but so are the cohort of countries and organizations that have been trying to wipe Israel out for the last 80 years. The Iranian regime running the country for the last 40 years has been the primary source funding state-sponsored terrorist activity in the Middle East and around the world. This is not even debatable and has nothing to do with propaganda. Again, don't let the facts stand in your way! Cheers!

When someone is cemented into their position, it's hard to change. If the facts change, I don't think you have the intellectual honesty to actually admit that. Cheers!

Didn't this whole damn thing start because women and children were killed on October 7? Unarmed women and 36 children, amongst all the men also killed? Your first sentence above was incredibly ignorant!
-
I give up. You guys are right! This is a waste of time...I'm going back to focus on making money! "When the facts change, I change my mind. What do you do sir?" Cheers!

Didn't you say that Iran will never give up or negotiate? What I've noticed so far is that everyone who thinks that self-interest isn't going to lead to some sort of settlement has been wrong. Self-interest, the will to survive, is the strongest force in the living universe. So far you and Cubs have both been wrong...him thinking that Trump will never TACO and you for thinking that Iran is going to bludgeon its enemies by shutting the Strait. Notice how self-interest is moving both so-called "unmovable" entities to do the exact opposite of what you guys thought! Cheers!

By the way, in terms of fast food poutine...there is actually one that is ok for a fast food joint. NY Fries poutines aren't bad...they make good fries for their poutine. On top of that, Fairfax through Recipe owns NY Fries! It's the only fast food poutine I will eat once in a while at the mall. Cheers!

Structure of the logic: Rule A: Insane people don’t have to fly missions. Rule B: You must request evaluation to be declared insane. Rule Wanting to avoid danger is rational → proves sanity. Conclusion: No one qualifies as insane → everyone must fly. This is circular and self-sealing: The rule uses its own outcome as proof of its validity. There is no external criterion to break the loop. Broader Use of Circular Logic in the Novel Heller generalizes this pattern across the system: Mission quotas: The number of required missions keeps increasing, making completion impossible in practice. Authority justification: Officers make arbitrary decisions but justify them using the same rules they control. Moral inversion: Actions that are clearly irrational (risking lives unnecessarily) are framed as duty or patriotism. Bottom Line Catch-22 is a system-level critique: Heller shows that institutions can become logically consistent yet functionally insane, trapping individuals in loops where: Compliance is mandatory Escape is impossible Logic itself becomes the mechanism of control The phrase “Catch-22” has since entered common language to describe exactly this kind of closed-loop, self-validating constraint. Guys...sometimes just too much analysis leads to paralysis! This was an opportunity like many, and trying to tear it apart in a million pieces just creates more questions and removes an investor from the whole Ben Graham framework of investing...buy cheap assets when available based on liquidation value or discount cash flow. That is the ONLY thing in your control...nothing else...no matter how many angles we look at it from, or scenarios we imagine that could be plausible outcomes! Cheers!

Giving your wife VD from a hooker, and then quietly trying to get her to take antibiotics for it, would probably lead to some trust issues! His team is denying it, but Melinda in her interview did not deny it. Cheers!

Also, wasn't it Gates who looked uncomfortable in that "Hooters" picture from a few years ago...Buffett was smiling! Buffett is one of the most well-connected people in the world...you don't think he heard rumors about Epstein...or after Epstein was already convicted the first time in 2009? Gates was still hanging out with Epstein and Buffett then. Regardless, none of my business...I want to know how Trump mentioned nearly a million times in the files...still eludes any sort of investigation! Cheers!
-
That saying...never meet your heroes...exists for a reason! Cheers!
-
That's probably somewhat true. I disagreed with Buffett's reaction to David Sokol and the whole Lubriderm thing. But you know what they say...if you don't stand for something, you stand for nothing! Cheers!
-
And Trumpie was best friends with this guy!! How do people ignore this and say it isn't important? Cheers! Warren Buffett cuts ties with friend Bill Gates after Epstein files bombshell

They should give President's the right to only do 5 pardons for each year served during their term(s). Cheers!
-
Hey, I thought these guys were just peaceful protestors? PPPhhhhhpppphhhtttttt! Cheers! Trump's pardons cause 'mayhem' as recipients go on 'crime spree': NYT

Dazel, are you pumping and dumping everywhere. What's with the one sentence posts on different threads? Or do you have a spasm in your finger that clicks on the "Enter" key before you finish each post? Cheers!

It's weird how it is moving compared to other retailers. Consumers, even well-to-do ones, are probably going to spend more at cheaper retailers with quality products. I suspect that is why Macy's is also holding up pretty well! Cheers!

+1! That's exactly what he's doing or suggesting. Equal pain! The U.S. gets hurt the least out of all of this...Europe and Asia may be pissed, but it will push them to help negotiate with the Middle East neighbors and come to some settlement with Iran. The easiest thing for Trump, and what he loves to do, is just wash his hands of the messes he creates and move on to something else...the man is a classic case of ADHD! Please pick up my shit behind me, while I go lay some more excrement for the world to pick up! Cheers!

In my 20's and 30's...no problem eating two Whoppers. In my 50's, lucky if I can finish a Jr. Whopper and small coke! These days it's hitting Happy Hours every other day finishing up errands, getting a nice discount on a glass of good chardonnay, and maybe a smoke salmon appetizer. Jr. Whopper is usually when I'm with the niece and nephew after soccer/hockey games! Cheers!

Yes, poutine is the hangover cure for me at 1am in Quebec. Everywhere else it is a Filet-o-Fish! Or breakfast at a 24-hour diner with eggs at 4am! Used to be anyways...can't do that anymore at my age. Cheers!

Think about this: If you are the villain in Iran's life right now...and you have taken your toll on them...and then you simply leave. That is a relief to Iran. Now Iran will negotiate with the U.S. inter-alia Iran's neighbors, who have the greatest vested interest here other than Iran. If you are Iran, would you rather deal with Trump or them? You know this will be ANOTHER assignment for Rubio as Trump moves on to Cuba. He's already well into discussions and will probably lead to some arrangement where the Strait opens, Iran starts to move oil, Iran's neighbors facilitate and probably fund any reparations/rebuilding, and Israel gets 5-10 years of peace. Trump gets oil flowing again, markets stabilize, another "win" for Trump's ego, no chance of missiles hitting Europe, China/Russia/North Korea uninvolved but oil/energy start to normalize, etc. We are still going to see inflationary pressure on goods and businesses over the next 12 months, and likely a minor recession, but that's a hell of a lot better than what could have happened if this thing went on too long. TACO TACO! Cheers!

Said there would be regional problems, but North America isn't going to go through a Lehman moment like the GFC. Also, no one is going to starve...you may have shortages in other parts of the world, but people will get through it. There may be shortages in specific crops, but people will find alternatives. When you have to face a crisis, you face a crisis and deal with it...look at the pandemic. Eventually, oil, fertilizer and other essentials will flow, and things will take some time to normalize again. This is a crisis, just not a Lehman moment. Cheers!

Menu looks awesome! I have to go there next time I'm in Montreal. Cheers!

Yeah, that looks good Greg! Where is this place? I like thicker fries, but the cheese curds look good and not too much gravy. Hey, you need sauerkraut on that sandwich! Cheers!
