  6. curious how many eggs do you eat per day? recently I have been eating two fried eggs per day and I got high cholesterol levels , including higher LDL (although my LDL/HDL ratio is within range). I suspect it’s because of eating too many eggs. So now I am eating one per day
  7. Does anyone has a good suggestion of YouTube video for daily strength training exercise? I never do any much exercise (except swimming and walking), but now I decided I will buy some dumbbells and start doing it
  8. With the high mortgage interest rate, it does seems the equity is a cash cow? They are making a lot money. I bought the preferred and thinking if I shall buy some common as well..
  9. I finished A gentleman in Moscow on paramount yesterday. Very very good. Bill gates wrote a review about the book a couple years ago. also watched Fallout on Amazon. Very good too.
  10. BB is an interesting company. There's only a handful (maybe 3?) vendor of embedded software platform. Embedded software are real time operating systems that run on time-critical stuffs (such as missile guidance, cars, or small devices). I used to work a lot with vxWorks, which was the gold standard. vxWorks were bought by Intel many years ago. What's left is Linux Embedded systems and QNX (BB). QNX could be an acquisition target -- But I am sure previous CEO has tried hard to sell it and somehow it didn't get sold. Probably it's because Linux (which is free) is already been integrated by many hardware vendors so nobody needs vxWorks/QNX anymore.
  11. geez , he or the newsletter spell Buffett without the T
  12. I bought some MMC as a tracking position today
  13. But what do I know.. I knew about this company for the past 20 years but didn’t buy any:(
  14. MSCI charges a fortune on their Barra data - the bank I used to work for pay a couple millions for it. Nowadays there’s Axiomas which is a competitor and much cheaper. Still, the large places will keep using it but less so. Another revenue source is MSCI index. The only people who pays for their index data are those who prop trade around index rebalancing but they are all losing money. I would rather buy SP Global if paying such a high premium
  15. sold most of my ACI. only kept a coffee can position. add to my coffee can portfolio CORZ, CDLX, BGC, SDRL, CZR, FNMAS, DFIN, STNG, CNHI, IMMR
  16. These group of stocks had a small correction. It’s a little bit cheaper now. Any suggestions which one is the best one to buy here for long term coffee can holding?
  17. if you buy it using margins , it will outperforms the 3x etfs. The 3x ETFs are a ripoff and a big profit source for banks trading it. You basically being front run because people know how much the index must buy at eod especially when there’s large movements .
  18. Shall we be buying oil, gold or defense stocks next week?
  19. Israel shall learn from China. If Hama is based in China, they would have been reeducated in camps and the leaderships being harvested for their organs, and the rest of them will be singing praises.
