The fact here provided by you, I likely must admit, confirms me in that I likely personally suffer from both home bias and cognitive bias about Danish and European/EU energy import/export balances. Time to get updated on that, likely, and if possible, by country.

Bought into EQNR.OS - Equinor ASA, Stavanger, Norway [again] today. - - - o 0 o - - - Sold it in the begining of January 2022, to pay Danish PAL-taxes in & on Danish tax deferred accounts. @73 Reds, You obviously got me wrong here. I don't understand him, nor have I ever alleged that I understand him. He is simply put totally differently wired than me. I not going to get closer to an analysis of him, because that's outside my professional circle of competence, I'm not a shrink, or anything alike. So, if you take notice, carefully, I don't dub him, put him in certain categories, nor am I name calling him. The basic facts are that he is elected by the American population, which does not include me. So in this topic, I don't comment on US internal affairs, at all, within the last year, or so, after being called out on it by a fellow CofB&F member. That does not change the fact that his decisions and actions in a material way has implications for my my future living conditions, because of : the way the net worth of my family, my household, and my own net worth is invested, allocated, and lately, his decisions and doings for sure are affecting my future taxes. It's that basic, simple. So, No voting right, but lots of skin in the game. Likely not that way, @WFF, But think in the line of government contracts and spending based on American procurement today, where there exists alternatives outside USA, i.e. like procurement in the global military Industrial complex. Norwegian politicians have already vented such ideas and are likely already now searching in the state budget for places for political sting operations, I'm sure. All from cancellations of contracts and procurement in progress to direct misc. harrassment of contractors. Just doing it across EU with EU military spending ramp-up going forward could really affect the US military industrial complex adversely. It's about a lot of billions of USD. It's according the melody : 'If he can, so can we!' Remember, this is politicians!

This morning I read up what had been posted here during the night my local time. What an amusement & entertainment! This last weekend has been totally overshadowed, dominated, comtrolled by Captain ChaosTM, Orange Drama QueenTM Thank God it's now Monday, so he is likely occupied in his office hopefully with boring, repetitive work and stuff demanding his attention!

As far as I've understood, POTUS will participate in Davos on Wednesday. Maybe something positive related to this happen then, based on separate talks in private among somebody involved.

What I have seen and heard expressed up here in the Nordics among several news and political reporters is, that what happened yesterday, is based on a misunderstanding by POTUS, that his reaction on TS yesterday was based on information about Operation Arctic Endurance, which he obviously would have misinterpreted as a provocation directed towards USA. What happened was that the countries participating in the military excersise actually was doing what POTUS actually had been blaming them for not to do. That rhymes with meeting participants with Danish delegation trusted by Vance and Rubio being uninformed this morning my local time why he posted what he did on TS. Pretty mind blowing to think about, actually. An impulsive 'shoot first - ask questions next' Maverick cowboy as leader of the worlds greatest power on the planet?
