ubuy2wron Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 I know that there are individuals who have spread sheets with the FFH portfolio from scouring filings. Anyone who would like to post a top ten cheat sheet I would be greatfull.
DynamicPerception Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 How about: http://www.dataroma.com/m/holdings.php?m=FFH
ubuy2wron Posted November 28, 2012 Author Posted November 28, 2012 Thank You very much. I am pretty sure that the entire equity portfolio is not as concentrated but the weighting in this list in the top 5 names is breath taking.
bobp Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 What a great website. Dataroma. I bookmarked. Thanks for posting.
Alekbaylee Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Anyone knows why FFH does not have BAC? He sold 40% of WFC according to Datorama... wonder if he has any particular concerns about banks...
Aberhound Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Prem is making a ton of money on Blackberry, most or all of which offset past losses. We should see a big change in his portfolio results. I am particularly impressed in his conviction buying steadily through the decline. He has dramatically reduced his exposure to US banks. He must be expecting a freeze in the credit markets probably caused by events in Europe where he has concentrated his deflation bet. I wonder why his investment in Bank of Ireland does not show up.
beerbaron Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I wonder why his investment in Bank of Ireland does not show up. Not a US listed stock. I don't think ADR are required. Fred

Short gold or something like that?

Packer16 Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 One of the biggest deflation proponents (Hoisington) has a bond fund comprised primarily of 30-yr zeros. That is purest deflation play I know of. Packer
Grenville Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 some stock holdings are held as total return swaps and won't show up in the 13Fs. See Odyssey Re's NAIC filings
