So right before Trump was elected in 2024, the WSJ EB was basically sucking the guy off. But now that he's in charge and causing chaos, and of course the WSJ has to now report on the objective reality of that chaos, it has become a machine for liberal propaganda and conspiracy. It has now obtained the dreaded moniker of being "fake news."

Sorry Cubs but you're wrong. The WSJ is a factual and objective news reporting body with strong editorial standards. That is, the stuff that exists outside of the opinion section of course. Some of the stuff that finds its way in there blows my mind in its stupidity. Same with the NYT.

 

Main Street is dumb. Many of them get their news from Facebook and the various other social media platforms, a lot of which isn't news at all. Most of that stuff is actually biased horseshit and lies masquerading itself as news. I think this problem has increased exponentially over time, will likely keep getting worse, and is responsible for a lot of the political environment we now live in.

 

Up has become down. Blue has now become red. A lot of people today aren't even able to agree on the factual reality of things, let alone the difficult solutions required for our serious and growing problems.

I personally thought that article from the NYT was incredible. I read it the first day it was in the paper.

 

I almost couldn't believe that they were able to scrounge up that much information. Somebody close on the inside I think is squealing.

The NYT is not a credible company anymore. Theyve blown decades of reputation and goodwill becoming a propaganda and platform pushing machine, so much is even admitted by the highest level folks. They believe it's "their duty" to undermine Trump.

Wrong - basically the WSJ is the paper of the global elitist that could give a shit about Main Street Americans. It cheers the offshoring of jobs and the party of Davos. There has never been anything in the Journal that interests the average American.

 

Mainstreet Americans care about their jobs, their family safety, their children's schools and whether college is a good deal.  The Journal could care less.

You're so right about Davos and Ivy League types.  They want to spend your money to pursue their agendas.  They have -0- effect on my life or way of thinking.  Probably posted this before but have a Son who (likely) would have gotten into Harvard.  I told him he could go - on his own nickel.  He chose wisely.

When I was a newborn, my dad went to prison while I lived with my mom, who has borderline personality disorder, in a Kentucky trailer park. When I was 5 or so, my parents got divorced and I moved in with my grandparents in an Oklahoma town where the median household income is a little over 60% of the national level. Basically all of the friends I had growing up were poor.

Wait a sec!  Obama came from the south side of Chicago. 

 

Trump also went to Ivy League schools and he grew up with the privilege of wealth, power, money, race, everything!  What about his pukes?  How is Trump not an elitist and Obama is?  Or Blake for that matter?  Your labels don't mean anything when they aren't accurate!

I do not waste my time reading the NYT John; if you choose to, because it continuously feeds the “undermine Trump” itch, that’s for your entertainment, not mine. 
 

Or I guess, to put it another, simpler way, when I see someone post anything from the NYT, I think the same thing I think when I see someone post a YouTube video or a Fox News article.
