@cubsfan all i I heard this year from Trump was how hot the economy was cause he fixed it and how tariffs are creating manufacturing boom.

 

Yet here we are - facts not feelings >

- unemployment was 4.0% when he came into office, it’s now 4.6%

 

- since came into office the US has lost 63,000 manufacturing jobs!!!

 

Not a good year for the economy as the facts and polling data shows and he can shout at TV cameras all he wants during Presidential addresses claiming otherwise but you know you can’t tell people they never had it so good when they’re struggling to buy groceries.

 

Totally accept that the boom maybe yet to come….but let’s stay rooted in reality here….Trump’s first year on an economic platform has not been a success. 2026 maybe a dividend period for all the work done in 2025 I hope so!

And desperately trying everything to keep the material from coming to light (after running on a platform that had releasing the files a key component). Its not a speeding ticket. nobody here is sifting through anything....but you know the media is....and so when that media finds a postcard from Epstein to Larry Nasser in the DOJ files where Epstein is saying El Prez is 'one of them' and its just tough luck the way the ball breaks sometimes "life isnt fair".....any right minded citizen stops for a second and say geez that isnt good to have POTUS namechecked like this....all while out doing fun shit with our kids.

Im not pretending anything. Your obsession with paedofile files is a little, well a lot gross. As is masking all this as some layman's pursuit of justice thinking you've got a leg up on the FBI/DOJ(which guess what, has been bipartisan thru the years on this thing). Or trying to frame my not caring about something thats already been ran through the justice system, and resulted in the one dude rotting in hell and his girlfriend locked up for 20 years...peculiar.

My interest is that the President  was best friends and connected with a convicted pedophile and is desperately trying to keep the information from being released. Its the same interest that the entire country (if not world) has (except apparently people in the cult who just want to move on).  Knowing whether the President is a pedophile or not seems a pretty important point.

 

Who exactly is thinking they've got a leg up of the DOJ (who by the way has been the key supporter in not releasing the info)?  We are watching this unfold real time not sitting here doing investigative work.  If it comes out that Trump was in fact involved and guilty would that hit your care hurdles?  If so, thats exactly why everyone else cares about it - the impacts are significant. And the fact that the guy committed suicide and his girlfriend is locked up for 20 years (despite Trump moving her to minimum security) suggests that a lot of really, really bad shit was going on.

Yup, I ll just highlight this as it's probably the stupidest, most obvious "I cant think straight" declaration possibly made....You realize these files, the bulk of the contents in them, have an age statement ranging from like 2003-2023/4? That county/state/ and federal agents have been on these as theyve been the basis for prosecutions? Thats essentially what all of this is lmfao! A collection of the information theyve used to prosecute these people? Who's prosecuted them? Years of Bush, Obama, Trump and Biden administration folks! So it's surely been through the hands of law enforcement at the highest levels and surely anything that would've buried someone IN THE COURT OF LAW would have resulted in such. But you and the mouth foamers are SCREAMING for the release thinking you'll unearth something new to "get Trump"! Please, tell me another joke....

Very, very wrong. I despise Trump, yes. But that is because he is a moron and incompetent and just a disgusting human being.  And we can disagree about that and policies etc.  But I would have hoped that as Americans (and human beings!) we could agree that raping children is a line that nobody should cross - and especially when it's the Presdient.  But I guess not. 

 

I dont give a crap about the whataboutism and timing. Everybody connected to this including anyone who intentionally kept it buried should be prosecuted.  So we should all agree that regardless of what happened before, the best way to deal with it is to release it all (again, as Trump promised!).

Yet again, I cant control what happened for the past 10-20 years. I dont know who buried it, why or how.  Prosecute the shit out of all them. But making that argument as a counter to supporting the full and unconditional release of everything today is putting wrong on top of wrong. 

 

For me the Epstein files are not political they are a matter of humanity vs animals.  The fact that the current President is in them and is actively trying to prevent their release (including the Speaker and head of the DOJ) is just another reason it needs to all come out and let the chips fall where they may. The fact you seem to have more vitriol for the people pushing for the release than the people in the files is a character issue.

The fixation is on the desire to see justice done. The fact that it is one of the most dispicable acts a person can commit makes the fixation to right the wrong even stronger. Its not political. Its good vs evil.  I would much, much rather this have nothing to do with the President because of its impact on our country and our respect globally.  But he is in the files and trying hard to stop them from being released. 

 

That you are making this out to be political because it means your dear leader is at risk says more about you than anything.

If you think Trump was a pedo why do you think that this information wasn’t released by the FBI when Comney was in charge, or prosecuted the Biden admin?  
 

He was hauled into court for exaggerating the value of his business to get a favourable loan deal which he paid down in full (a victimless ‘crime’ if there ever was one), so I’m not inclined to believe there is dirt on him regarding Epstein that his detractors would bury just because.  It’s an easy way to get him out of office and into jail that they didn’t take.  That’s illogical.
