formthirteen Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Crime 101 was great, a bit like Task, both with Mark Ruffalo: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt32430579/ I thought Hollywood stopped making great movies.
weighingmachine Posted April 20 Posted April 20 (edited) Thanks to whoever it was that recommended Paatal Lok on here, that was a great acting, writing, and cinematography through the whole series on Amazon. Any others along that line? Edited April 20 by weighingmachine

Any others along that line? The Netflix remake/stream of "Man on Fire", which starred Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning in the original movie, gave me goosebumps in the last 15-20 minutes of the 1st episode. They had to build up the story...and like a lot of multi-episode shows it was a slow build...but then the last 15-20 minutes were insanely good! Yahya Mateen is pretty good, especially in the action sequences, but he's no Denzel...but there will never be another Denzel! So it's not Paatal Lok great, but pretty darn good. If the other episodes are anything like those 15-20 minutes...it will be a winner! Will keep you up to date on what they are like. Cheers!

Watched three more episodes tonight...didn't really live up to those 15-20 minutes. More like a good summer popcorn series to watch...somewhat entertaining at times, but not so good most of the time. Could have been much better! Cheers!

boilermaker75 Posted Tuesday at 11:57 AM Posted Tuesday at 11:57 AM I normally read when I am flying, but I check what movies are available just in case. They had one that I have been wanting to watch, 3 Idiots. I would give "3 idiots" 10 out of 10 stars. It is very good and some of the messages are the same as I teach in my Keys to Learning class.
brobro777 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I recently watched that movie 1917 on a flight and it wasn't bad But that movie is nuffin compared to shorting EWY and having that shit squeeze against you 20 points! Now THAT's entertainment!
