John Hjorth Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Nate [fellow board member oddballstocks] and his business partner Kenneth have released this book short time ago [At the end of November 2017, I think]. Available on Amazon here. Great initiative! I ordered the paperback version today, and I really look forward to the read.

onyx1 Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Thrilled to see this! I 1-clicked, and I intend to submit my first ever customer review after reading. Hope they do insurance next.
mikazo Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 Just finished the book last week. It has made me more interested in researching small-cap bank stocks!
gjangal Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Just bought this on Kindle. Look forward to reading this. I have always enjoyed Nate's insights on this board. The podcast with Eric is also a good listen http://www.cornerofberkshireandfairfax.ca/forum/general-discussion/interview-with-nate-tobik/msg321108/#msg321108
cubsfan Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 My review on the book from Amazon: Format: Paperback|Verified Purchase This is a very good book on investing in banks. It's easy and quick to read, as it does not belabor the point. I found the book quite entertaining on what might be a dry subject. There are very good insights into what are the most important metrics to understand. Part of the difficulty I always found with investing in banks is just understanding the "lingo" - that mystery is gone after reading this book. I highly recommend this fine handbook.
EricSchleien Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Just bought this on Kindle. Look forward to reading this. I have always enjoyed Nate's insights on this board. It was definitely one of my favorite interviews to do. Nate's a super interesting guy. We ended up chatting for about an hour after the show as well. Highly recommend the book too.
Castanza Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Picked up this book about a month ago on a friends recommendation. Had no idea it was written by Oddballstocks. So far I'm about half way through. Very well written and a great primer on a subject I knew little about. kudos to you Oddballstocks
