Yeah. Same here. The more I've read the last few weeks I'm not surprised one bit that he lost. But the majority was a huge surprise. What's the phrase, "Absolute power corrupts absolutely"? Let's hope for everybody's sake Justin Trudeau doesn't suffer the same fate. I can't vouch for the National Observer or the writer of the article (2 parts) but these allegations are bordering on criminal. http://www.nationalobserver.com/2015/05/18/news/harper-worst-prime-minister-history

What are you looking for? I only use Google finance for a quick glance and sometimes to verify its ticker symbol.

Without knowing anything about him other than the article, that was my thought too. -
Why Concentration Can Be A Terrible Idea

When I read the article that was my first thought, maybe he wasn't very good. Maybe he just burned out like some people do or the stress of short sighted clients combined with stress at home had an impact at work. -
The fear mongering over his deficit plan makes me laugh. But there are so many of the undecided who listen to that type of thing and get persuaded into believing it's the worst thing a potential PM could do. But from what I've hear, he's just not ready. He has nice hair though. ;D The Greens intrigue me. I get nervous looking at their candidate page though. To put it nicely, they look like a bunch of misfits. Crazy science teachers, retired grandmother's etc.

Same here. I switched from Adblockplus to uBlock. Adblockplus was slowing my laptop down too much. uBlock works great.

Instead of seeing only Valeant? Oh yea. Ahhh, I wondered why someone would want to ignore a thread but now I get it. Like Sears from a couple of years ago too.

Two Margins- A new investment tool

That looks interesting, thanks for sharing. -
I noticed that of a couple of my follows too. As time goes on I look more to cut people from my feed as I do looking for new people to follow. One small cap individual investor posts more about global macro/political now. He's cut. ;D

OMPI (outside passive minority investors) drives me nuts. I just don't read anything by him anymore. Shareholders or minority shareholders should suffice.............. >:(

This is a book I've been meaning to read. Having just found a couple of used book websites I may finally get it.

No apology needed. The amount of failed Canadian retailers, it's hard to keep them straight. ;D

Kmart's leases were bought by HBC the parent of Zellers, Walmart wasn't involved at all. I worked at Kmart at that time. It was a similar situation as Target buying Zellers leases...................then Canadian Tire and Lowes buying Target leases.

I feel that way about Blackberry. Over 4 years I had 5 different Blackberry phones and after about 8 months on each and every one of them something failed, usually with the physical phone itself. Trackball, space bar and of course the battery. I went through a few batteries. A few people I've worked with use them and have the same or similar experience. The Target example is a good one here in Canada, I agree.

.................that makes the news in the U.S.? Seriously? I edited the title to reflect the lack of news this actually is. -

Set it and forget it is the strategy behind the Canadian Couch Potato portfolio. Essentially a basket of etf's rebalanced annually to your risk tolerance and diversification preference.

Off topic but does anyone know if there's an Australian equivalent that would show insider holdings like the SEC does with the proxy or Sedar does with the Annual Information Circular?

I just wish they would get rid of that annoying captcha before it shows the filing.

Is the blame on the service provider or the investors not validating their numbers with regulatory filings though?
