I still have a $300 limit order sitting there partially filled…maybe in a few months

If you like lifting (and I understand you don’t want to lift heavy necessarily) looking into Jim Wendler’s 5/3/1. Besides the basic lifting, his programming has a lot of conditioning/mobility work built in. I get in a 40ish minute workout 4x per week using his principles, which includes heavy lifting, some mobility work, and some conditioning. Maybe you can adapt some of the ideas to your needs. Also look Brian Alsruhe’s stuff. He has lots of 20-30 minute conditioning templates (lots of circuit stuff with 50% squats, etc) that you might be interested in.

MSGE buying spree continues. Got a bit yesterday, more today.
-
More MSGE at some point today. Pretty much a full position yet I keep adding..
-
nibbles of MSGE throughout the day

Nice slug of MSGE and MSGS

I read they have enough air for 96 hours. *If* they’re on the surface it should be easy to locate..right? Hope these folks make it.

I know the US Air Force has used Xbox controllers as inspiration for familiarity reasons. This however…idk man. Seems like this whole operation was stupid to begin with.
-
That controller has to be the most janky way to control a submarine I’ve ever seen. Hope they’re found soon…

If I remember correctly Munger has some money with Li Lu. I recommend checking out any recordings of his lectures at Columbia you can find. You probably won't learn anything new, but you'll understand him more as a person and what he's all about. -
So obviously you’re a fan of holdcos that compound book value at superior rates. Does the discount to NAV that these companies inherently deal with bother you at all?

More MSGS. Looking at Cigna...don't really understand the industry. LOTS of reading to do here before/if I pull the trigger.

What is the intrinsic value of Fairfax's stock as of today?
Malmqky replied to Viking's topic in Fairfax Financial
I just slapped on a 1.2x multiple to book and called it a day for my vote as well. 1x pb is obviously undervalued, and 1.5x pb is probably trending towards overvalued. So I just use that as a range for IV. Fairfax is very complex (thanks @Viking for the analysis on it) and I think keeping things simple here is the way to go. No need to make things even more complex and speculating by trying to do a DCF, etc. -
Trying to buy more MSGE, limit order not filled yet.. Bought starters in MO, BTI, PM. Welcome to hearing any suggestions regarding additions to this tobacco basket, please and thank you.

Fair point, but I can see a scenario where the AI is used to pull data from a database of cases and relay information about those. Easy to double check as well.
-
I assume any competent law firm would hire some ML dudes to train an AI with specialized cases and parameters to avoid this. A general chat bot would be foolish to use for law.

It’s a Buffett quote - good guess!

Whoops, better sell my entire position! Didn't realize the Garden's true value is only $800m or whatever everything else they own is worthless! Good thing Goldman is here to set me straight with their superior intellect and unbiased opinion!

A good chunk of MSGE at ~$35ish...looking into Tencent/Prosus.
-
MSGE @ 35ish partially filled
-
More MSGE at $38.00 because I have no patience. When something is screaming value however, what's a few extra bucks? ...Right? My cost basis is still far lower than what it's trading for anyways. EDIT: bought triple the previous amount at $35.75 a pop. Sitting at a bit 10% now. Cost basis less than $28 per share still.

Almost bought SPHR…couldn’t bring myself to do it so just bought more MSGS instead
