Lol, same. Marriage is about settling for me. When I just accepted yeh, I just have to accept this is my lot lol. You’re right, I’m married now

Not many men are actually like that in my experience though. Have you ever seen how men and women score the opposite sex on dating apps? Its quite a story.

Before Trump we agreed on nearly everything lol.

Expectations have changed. The people who get married and have kids are also the people who are happy not having the biggest house, nicest car, hottest partner, or best career. In other words, if you are a person looking to be the best and have the best I don’t think you’re ready for the compromises it takes to get married and have kids. It’s hard.
  6. I would suggest you don’t make this bet. Iran attacked the Saudi oil fields a few years ago and the price spike and was down the same day. If there is an attack on Iran you can bet there would be a massive SPR release.
  7. Thats not what the NYT article says though. And btw, I agree that if these democratic institutions are getting money, that should stop.
  8. Imperialist is different from what you said though, you exaggerate a lot lol, he might be eyeing up Baltics and Ukraine. But I doubt he has any intention of causing WW3.
  9. There is a line in there somewhere though. ”“Putins gonna take over the world if we don’t fight a proxy war thru Ukraine” - nobody is actually saying that though.
  10. So where is the line for you? Greenland? Panama Canal? World War II? I think the libertarian’s view on foreign policy is a bit like communist’s view on economics. Both believe the world exists in a way it doesn’t.
  11. You support tariffs on other countries. Right?
  12. Hypocrisy from who? I’m not the one saying that. Yes to access the internet, and no matter how much you tweak the formula to try to get the answer you want, it doesn’t come out as ‘warmongering’. Edit - thinking about it. Aren’t you being the hypocrite? Condemning on one hand people advocating for censorship, but also condemning a group trying to help people skirt censorship?
  13. Don’t know what you mean.
  14. Greg, it’s providing access to the internet for goodness sake. Nobody is invading anyone else to convert the heathens. It doesn’t have to promote anything, it’s like giving someone a library card - read what you want. The suggestions of meddling and warmongering are not credible.
  15. The war of 1812 and the rapid expansion well beyond what the boundaries of 13 colonies suggests something else. I don’t even know how it’s relevant here, we are talking about providing tools to access the internet. It doesn’t have to promote anything.
  16. The only person whinning is you. I’m describing something, you aren’t. You’re just being pissy.
  17. According to Greg, funding an agency that provides tools to access the internet where it is restricted is ‘warmongering’. What a stupid thing to say. Yes, all that bs about covid, and Russia collusion etc etc, one the reason why we can debunk it is… precisely because we have an open internet not controlled by government. Your own examples prove why it’s important. Can they do that so easily in other places around the world - no. There they don’t have the ability to easily debunk government propaganda. Another self owning argument.
  18. Unfortunately many MAGA don’t believe in advocating values like Democracy. They get to enjoy all the benefits of living in one, but their empathy stops at the border. Living in an authoritarian shit hole - tough luck. It’s meddling to even show an alternative. God forbid others might want to elect their leaders too.
  19. The UK’s position in relation to net zero is idiotic, and it was idiotic before Labour took power. It’s not a choice of a Trump like figure or getting rid of the target… I hope.
  20. I agree with much of what you said except the stolen term. He had a team handling all that crap. He had time to advance his agenda, he got some major legislation passed, new trade deals etc. He had a Republican majority in the Senate and impeachment was never going to happen.
  21. A fourth term? I don’t agree his first term was stolen, although I agree Russia collusion was a load of crap etc.
  22. More trolling? These limits are probably good.
  23. For clarity, I’m referring to protection from the likes of China and their predatory trade practices, and to offshoring to save a few bucks. I’m not talking about tariffing friends or like minded countries.
  24. I saw that, I agree with Vance
