That's rather embarrassing for the biggest and strongest economy in the world. -

Only one nation has used Article 5. European men and women were killed because America couldn't keep its planes safe. God forbid Europe gets some assistance back after 20 years in the Middle East. -
American companies that will benefit from tariffs?

Possibly. I think, like his supporters, Trump is all bark. He'll claim this as a win though. -

Trump has now backtracked on both the Mexican and Canadian tariffs. Looks like he didn’t have balls to play the long game. Hopefully Canada and Mexico maintain their tariffs. -

America got 40% on this, so they'd be middle of the pact here. Hardly a convincing percentage. -

When people like Putin crave war there will be war, he started all of this 16 years ago. He wants to control Ukraine, its resources, and all other imperial territories lost at the collapse of the USSR. It's best to understand that rather than act like Chamberline in WW2. It wouldn't have been Biden's war, as he would have continued backing Ukraine to push back against the aggressor. Considering 52% of Americans support Ukraine, I suspect not. Trump is withdrawing support because his boss (Putin) has asked him to. -

Biden was a man of principle and stuck to his word. You can't hold Trump or those around him to the same standards. Neither he nor Putin are to be trusted. -

Why would Europe trust Trump? He has attacked Mexico, Canada, and threatened to invade Denmark. Why would anyone trust him? Why would Europe Trust Putin" He has breaks agreement after agreement and has attacked his neighbours 25 times since taking charge. Nobody should or will trust either. -

I can't believe that President Krasnov has just voted with Russia to drive through the Ukraine war measure. Disgusting. -

Does anyone know what sort metrics Burry uses to screen opportunities? I keep seeing different possibilities but unsure what is the legitimate one. Any tips are appreciated! Cheers

I have the same thoughts about the modern additions and it felt like an up hill battle whilst reading for the same points you mentioned. it’s interesting that you find the original an easier/more enjoyable read as i had the same thoughts with the intelligent investor. Where did you find an original copy it might be worth having a look into it myself. Cheers -
