Hi gfp, unlike other miners, they sell all their bitcoins. I would think this is a good thing? If bitcoin stay at current price, they are certainly undervalued. If bitcoin goes down, their margin is currently at 20ish%

For the experts here, has anyone looked at the stock of Core Scientific , ticker CORZ it seems interesting because: 1. Just got out of bankruptcy and stock is trading at only $3ish 2. insiders have been buying 3. They own their infrastructure and claim to have lower cost mining bitcoins they also have some warrants which are also interesting.

there’s probably 20 different teams on wall st that are tracking this, including every Bank’s index team. These guys call S&P directly and ask their analysts all sort of questions and have a very good understanding how the process works. But rarely people guess the exact one.. you sort of know what are names are next, but it’s a long list.

I merely trim it. I had 4% of my portfolio in it, which is a zero or multi bag situation depending on a litigation situation . After $SAVE fiasco, I have turned into a person without guts. Now I have about 2% of my portfolio in it and probably will keep holding till full liquidation.

Thanks. Curious why do you think it opens up the question if it’s a Buffett holding? also, the NAI filing show the shares were bought in 3/9/2022, when the stock was at $34. Shouldn’t Buffett sells these first because they are quite high cost. Buffett’s first purchase was in Q1 2022. And $34 was hear the high range during that quarter. Unless it’s actually being held by both WEB and T.T.?

No point of arguing unless you actually have bought a stock and hold for a decade and it made you richer than you would have if u had bought brk. Or, simply put, are you about 5x richer from 2013? But Brk shareholders are.

Didn’t Buffett say “Buy good companies at fair price “. brk went up a lot in 2024, it’s near fair value but not over valued. I am not selling a single share (and buy any of the other craps I bought in my portfolio:)

I think I sold 100% of my brk at 2013 to buy my first house. I don’t remember how much I sold. The stock was at $80ish. fortunately I bought all of them back and owned a lot more in subsequent years when I had more money. i made tons of mistakes buying all kind of stocks, but everytime I was behind, it’s brk who’s holding me up. I have my IRAs (many 401k roll overs) 90% invested in Brk. Recently my broker called me offering private wealth services. I think they called me because my account is up a lot YTD.

Someone should do a sentiment analysis on all of WEB’s letters. When he sounds sour towards Brk’s prospects, what’s the next year’s return related to the market? I suspect this backtest will show it’s negative correlated (but it needs to be compared with years when he’s more bullish) also, if what he says it’s right, it’s still better to own Brk then the Casino/market index.
