Yeah they are pushing the envelope and slowly dismantling any pushback. They’ve attacked the universities and the big law firms. They are currently focused on immigrants or folks here on legal visas but that will quickly change to everyone. No justification, no due process off to the El Salvador prison or the Louisiana detention center…

Deal, I appreciate your post and perspective! I am with you, I think folks view DJT as your average politician, he is not. He isn’t beholden to anyone so he can get more done, but in the process of getting things done whether good or bad, he is dismantling a lot of the checks and balances. There is no morality in how he is doing things and I for one agree with your view on the outcome. Please share when you can!

What stops aggression, nukes…what stops Europe from sending over nukes to the frontline to battle Russian aggression, no more US, all that is left are nukes. CoBF is definitely a unique meeting spot. Even more impressive is how it has continued on in so many iterations with the common thread of Parsad's stewardship through all markets and ups and downs. I do like the aspect of the random paths we all follow before we run into CoBF and then it changes our lives meaningfully. I would be in the camp for the lack of direct marketing, but I'm 100% in support of whatever Parsad views as feeling right. Nostalgia....so many names and personalities over the years...ericopoly, uccmal, dengyu, Buffett_groupie, MrB, picasso and many many others.... It's been a treat meeting some of these folks over the years at various watering holes (AGMs...). Such an eclectic group of people but bound by a strong desire to find that next company or dive deeper It's also funny when some of those posters interwine into your personal life through connections that you couldn't imagine possible.... it's funny but sort of cool. Somehow my wife knew about the board/value investing/a poster when I made a slide deck to explain what I was planning on doing with my life... She was like I know about all that stuff, and I was like no way, and I guessed who she knew...small fucking world... Makes me realize I need to get back up to Toronto for the AGM one of these days...

FWIW...Cobf helped me make the career switch along with opening up doors to experiences and people I had no clue about....Thank you Sanjeev for keeping this thing running across it's many iterations and also cultivating a place that has been able to keep its special sauce special for so long. Kudos!
