  7. However you want to label it, the stuff that’s happening to the folks in Gaza sucks and ain’t right…here it doesn’t seem like there is much sympathy/empathy for them. Maybe I am reading it wrong but seems like folks think they (folks in Gaza) have brought on what’s happening to them based on their past choices…
  8. I see so reading comprhension is not my strong suit nor knowledge of history. Thank you for educating me! So i learned today that had the Gazans chose Lee Quan Yew they would be thriving.... I wasn't aware they had that choice (something new I learned also), but it's too bad they didn't go with Lee Quan Yew as they wouldn't be in the current predicatment. Also I learned that Hamas won 70%+ of the popular vote. I'm assuming when the 70%+ who voted for Hamas assumed it would lead to their current predicament so they decided that knowingly insted of going with the alternative of Lee Quan Yew and a thriving life. Now you also taught me some analogies. The first one is that routinely crossing a street on a red light drastically increases the chances of being fatally struck by a car, but doesn't mean they deserve to be struck by a car. So if I take the analogy and apply it to Gazans, they I assume are the ones choosing to routinely cross the street at red lights and the red light is going with Hamas. So by choosing hamas with their popular vote they increased their chances of being struck by a car. So even though they routinely choose hamas they don't deserve to be hit, but they increased their chances of being hit. Did I get the analogy right? The other analogy you taught me was smoking and lung cancer. So if I apply it to the Gaza example, they chose Hamas which I assume is like smoking...choosing Hamas increased their chances of lung cancer. They knowingly increased their chances of lung cancer with their choice and their current predicament is lung cancer...So even though they don't deserve it, because they decided to go 70%+ with Hamas this led to lung cancer...Did I get that analogy right? Where does Lee Quan Yew fit in this analogy? Had they chose Lee Quan yew in the first analogy would that be not crossing the street or would that be a bridge over the street? How about the second analogy is Lee Quan Yew just not smoking cigarettes and instead doing yoga or is like Lee Quan Yew is the cure for cancer? Looking forward to learning these analogies. Is my reading comprehension getting better? How about my awareness of history?
  9. Oh I wasn’t aware that all of Gaza followed Hamas? Is that why they all deserve to be obliterated?

  19. I don’t know if you are referring to me or others. If talking about a lack of due process is political then I will stop. If the topic of universities is political then I will avoid. just would like some clarity on what or who you are referring to
  20. that’s not what I’m talking about and not the situation I’m referring to at the universities
