Please do. I've had this company on my watchlist for a while but haven't had the time to conduct analysis on it. I also noticed that MicroCapClub is big on the company as well.

It's nice to have Ackman/Berkowitz on the "right" side of the trade, hopefully it turns out to be GGP v2.0 -

Your move US government... I'm anticipating much more screaming and shouting reported in the media now http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-02-21/fannie-mae-to-pay-u-s-7-2-bln-after-quarterly-profit.html -
Could be true as Ted's quite fond of the media industry it seems... OR maybe he's just fond with John Malone's companies

Anyone have any idea as to why FFH is paying out a dividend? Could they not find better use? or did they want to attract a different type of investor and be more similar to their peers?

Not OID related but I'm interested in nextissue.ca, which is only available for iOS, Android and Windows 8. Is there a similar workaround for it with a Windows 7 machine? Would Virtual Box work? Not sure if your in Toronto or not but Toronto Public Library has a partnership with Zinio which gives cardholders access to pretty much 80-90% of those magazines listed on nextissue

You can't go wrong with Samsung/LG for the price and i'd recommend 120hz if you plan on watching sports or any shows with fast moving pictures as 60hz might display a blurring effect. If you are really a hardcore sports nut, then 240hz would be ideal. I still prefer plasma's though due to the blacker black's instead of the grey found on the majority of LED backlit LCD tv's.

Read his articles on montrealgazette. He writes an article once or twice a month and usually highlights a potential or current holding of theirs and their rationale. -
Best (book) introduction to Buffett and/or business
Yours Truly replied to netnet's topic in General Discussion
Lay it thick to them and recommend the Snowball! All kidding aside, I''d say either Buffett The Making of an American Capitalist or Tap Dancing to Work. I'd vote for the former being that its more autobiographical, whereas the latter is more educational. -
