Don't you guys think the expense ratio is kinda high? I know it is still a small fund but at 1.5%... that's too high for me. Most I am willing to pay is around ~1% top ( sequoia and fairholme).

I thought they was going to be a poll. I love polls. -
Are you kidding me?! I put the entire Fiat thread in a word document to read it over the weekend a few months ago. Thanks! I feel a little stupid for never looking for a print all button earlier... +1 Didn't know about the Print button... good to know now!

It might not be what you're looking for but What is do is change my settings to display more posts per page. I go Account Profile > Account Settings > Modify Profile > Look and Layout and increase the messages to display per page to 50. I find that easier to work with.

Systemic Risk - PIMCO Total Return Fund?
fareastwarriors replied to benhacker's topic in General Discussion
I have some 401k money in the Total Return Fund. I have no plans to redeem unless Bill Gross leaves. Maybe I enamored with Gross' cult of personality? I have zero expertise in fixed income. My small allocation to bonds are all through mutual funds. Pimco Total Return Fund, DoubleLine Total Return Bond Fund, Berwyn Income Fund. -

China - What are you doing about it?
fareastwarriors replied to tlee19802's topic in General Discussion
That rumor has been going around for quite a while... I have NO DOUBT that it is partially true... HOWEVER, I have heard accounts where there THREE people playing behind each seated person at a Baccarat table. I also have played poker...and I hate to generalize, but folks of Chinese & Vietnamese descent seem to have a cultural propensity to gamble. I'm not talking about a putting a $100 bill in a slot machine for a lark either...I'm talking about serious, big money gambling. So I have no doubt at all that Macau will do several times what Vegas does. Not a doubt in my mind. I just hope to be able to profit from it long term! True that! -
Obama to cap tax-preferred retirement accts to $3MM
fareastwarriors replied to mrvlad0's topic in General Discussion
I keep hearing Obama's budget is dead on arrival. What is the chance of this legislation (Limit savers' combined balance across tax-preferred accounts) passing? -

Are you guys actively reducing positions and sitting on more cash? Personally, I'm still nearly fully-invested. -
