Yesterday, Berkshire shared the schedule of the Annual Meeting 2026

It looks similar to the AGM 2025. These are the differences:

  • Buffett is not on stage. Greg is sharing it with other operators at Berkshire.
  • The Q&A starts later at 8:30 instead of 8:00 AM.
  • The break is at 10:45 instead of 10:30 and takes 60 instead of 30 minutes.
  • Greg will also be joined by Katie Farmer (BNSF) and Adam Johnson (NetJets).

How do you like the new schedule? I think the addition of the extra operators is great.

I have also put together my AGM guide again for everyone going. There is also an AI chat version, if you prefer that.

Hope to see you in Omaha!

Surprised to see reservations available at Gorat's for Thursday and Friday nights.  Is there something I need to know before I book a table?

It is just less demand this year.

There a better restaurants in Omaha. Aside from that, enjoy the experience! 🙂

So, the prices of MKL tanked and Fairfax tanked after earnings.  Is Berkshire going to make a trifecta?  Monday could be a lot of fun if you have cash ready to deploy.  Haven't bought anything yet but locked and loaded.

Apple beat expectations, Coca-Cola beat expectations, Alphabet beat expectations.

Great business seems to do very well.

The nature of a great business modell is, that it works very well. 🙂

I'm 100% certain that Mr. Abel will be a great manager for Berkshire, but goddamn it if I'm not sad that Buffett won't be on that stage tomorrow. I heard someone say that we shouldn't expect Greg to sit up there and opine about the world like Buffett did. And it's so sad to me because I think that's exactly what the world needs right now more than ever.

Buffett's wisdom will be so sorely missed. God bless that man.

The interview the Berkshire director is interesting. She pretty much explains what everyone should have known by now.

the era of tweaking the stock portfolio at the margins, and generating 13F “breaking the news” cycle was the gimmick of the earlier Buffett era. There are a large block of security holdings outside the operating businesses, the 4x4 that Greg outlined. Those are stable.

Focus is on running the main engine. Creating a BNFS worth of earning every year if job is well done.

Yes, @73 Reds,

It would be nice. I also have some cash earmarked by now for such specific purpose, right now. I've been picking up a bit as of lately, not much though.

Only $234M of buybacks, Greg not stepping on the accelerator (yet).

I think they hit a blackout period shortly after the announced purchase. Will be interesting to see what he does from here, particularly with the cash pile growing every day.

For a moment I thought Buffett was honouring T&T when he said he wanted to note a 10 year anniversary when he placed 10% of company investment …. Nah … Tim Apple

OH he's getting way in the weeds.  Meeting individually with the GEICO tech people.  I bought the decentralization/Roman empire stuff.
