Good.  This should bring a little more interest to Fairfax, mostly from small investors.  They are showing an increase in valuation of between 9% and 18% per year for the next 4-5 years.  I don't believe that includes the dividend.

I see that they don’t cover Intact Financial.  I wonder how they determine which Canadian stocks to cover.

Thanks MMM20!

Some numbers are in Canadian dollars (estimated values and current price) while the table seems to be in US dollars!   Very interesting!

Thanks for sharing @MMM20. The P/E and P/B don’t adjust for FX so it makes the multiple look higher than they are but still screens cheap.

@mananainvesting also pointed out to me that they expect share issuance every year which seems unlikely as they tend to buyback enough to offset the vesting of stock awards with buybacks for treasury.

That being said, it seems like being added to Valueline helps BRK shareholders switch some of their holdings over which may be helping with recent momentum.

Well something has stirred a lot of interest in FFH today. as of lunchtime:

Fairfax is up $62.67C or 2.7% to $2,385C

CIBC index analyst also highlighting today FFH is their top pick for the 60 if the index committee decides to delete AQN. That might be helping too. Each time the index arbs decide to play, they find there are less shares available to buy.

Is it going to be this time?

I’m less confident than I have been on the last three reviews so probably? AQN has been hanging around 20bp the whole time and S&P made a change to allow RBA to qualify so there is more competition.
