I'm passing on the Canada discussion. People are way too sensitive. I've posted before about defense expenditures, etc.  Not worth getting everyone upset.

 

There is no doubt that Mexico & China are the true villians here. Always have been, always will be.

Canada is our closest ally - and sometimes families don't see eye-to-eye.

Hey, I fully agree we should be spending more and could do better.  But the extreme reaction isn't going to get the desired outcome this time without consequences.

you're right to point to my book. The very first edition on the cover shows a graphic photo of Vancouver on world map with fenyl pills exploding out of Vancouver going around the world so you could say that for 10 years I've been researching the thesis.

and this was hard for people to believe but Vancouver has become a production hub for China and a transshipment hub for fenal precursors to the point where it's now established that Canada is a fental 

exporter nation and so this gets to what Donald Trump is saying

 

it's hard for many people to believe that Canada could be put in the same category as Mexico in terms of endangering the United States with fenel with illegal immigration and human trafficking

 

but my research has showed that uh indeed this is the fear and concern of us intelligence Community US military and law enforcement really for decades that Canada's weak enforcement against transnational crime weak control of borders has allowed International organized crime with linkages to hostile States most specifically China but also Iran middle eastern states that are not friends the United States to have set up very strongly in Canada

I think there's a lot of the art of the deal going on when he's trolling and saying you're going to be the 51st state but I do say that there's very deep concerns that Canada is being used by China in a very sophisticated economic and really criminal way

The irony in the video, if you believe it (which you seem to do), is that it shows how Biden's administration has been decreasing the amount of immigrants coming in from the Mexican border since 2022 in massive amounts.  But apparently, Biden made zero progress on that front according to Agent Orange!  Cheers!

No the all time high was Dec 2023 at 300,000 !

 

It went down in 2024, since Biden finally understood that immigration was a issue he would lose the election on - so he slowed it down.

I like Americans, you are some of the friendliest people around and a lot of you are smart, resilient and resourceful. But it is sad to see the direction this great nation is going in, tearing up the global institutions and alliances you built after WWII. These policies are so short sighted - you are just shooting yourselves in the foot in the long run. Global opinion of your country has been steadily decreasing over many years. Cancelling all foreign aid and assistance eliminates a key tool of American soft power. You think that you can go it alone in the world but you can't. Everything is so interconnected. So many other countries want the standard of living that you have become accustomed to and are hungrily working for it and will continue to become more competitive and innovative. New trade relationships are forming across the world without the US involved. I hope you reverse course and take back the mantle of the leaders of the free world.
