LC Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 RIP to a guy who created so many dreams and memories for kids, and adults. And who created a wildly successful and profitable franchise! Incredible what he accomplished. I saw someone posted this today about him and it just strikes me as awesome: https://i.imgur.com/DsKOfFc.jpg

boilermaker75 Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 His cameo appearances in all those Marvel movies were great.
TorontoRaptorsFan Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 Creative mastermind! Incredible to think how many storylines and characters he created. His legacy will live on.
Spekulatius Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 Creative mastermind! Incredible to think how many storylines and characters he created. His legacy will live on. He lived in relative obscurity before the superhero genre got revived wit X-men and Spider-Man.
Parsad Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 LotsofCoke started the discussion about Marvel on this message board back when it was the MSN Value Investing board about 15 years ago. I remember he bought a ton of shares for himself and his children around 50 cents to $2. He argued that there was an enormous catalogue of intellectual property that was now going to be monetized into movies. I don't think anyone, including Stan Lee himself, imagined that the Marvel movie machine engine would be as prolific or as good as it is today. I used to run around our house as a four year old dressed up in a Spiderman outfit. Now my four old nephew runs around the house dressed up as Spiderman or Black Panther on any given day! Cheers Stan Lee!
