I was going to post on it this morning but didn't want to jinx anything.

Canada/U.S. is always close on both the men's and women's side but 1-0 is crazy. The comeback yesterday was even more crazy.

Lets hope they have something left in the tank for the game against Sweden.

Hockey at it's best. The USA was good but it just wasn't their day. No disrespect to Sweden but it's too bad Russia didn't make it through. Canada-Russia showdowns are always something special and the atmosphere would have been unreal in Sochi.

I just got back from Sochi, never would have expected Canada/Sweden in the finals because they played so poorly the first few games. But I guess talent prevailed after all...

Congrats.

Yeah, after the round robin I thought playing for a bronze would have been all they could hope for.

The Canadian sports media were saying they played better this time around than the round robin than in Vancouver 2010, the defence would win them the tournament etc.......

It says a lot when you can get 20 of the best players in the world to buy in to a defensive game plan like they did.

Pretty cool settlement of the Canada/U.S. bet too........................and they finally spelled neighbours right.  :P

Gals and boys were fantastic!! Well done.

Vancouver fell into a deep chill on the weekend.  We've had 48 hours of non-stop snow right now, so the atmosphere in the city was pretty great for the final.  Cheers!
