  1. Yea that whole state is a total piece of shit. Maybe someone should tell the 1 in 12 Americans that call California home. With a little help from Trump we can make California as great as Alabama or Mississippi! So much prosperity there.
  2. Brought to you by the party of “States’ Rights”!
  3. WTH!? Is that Rickie Fowler?!
  4. I read that he said he told his son (X?) to punch him in the face?
  5. Damn, that video looks pretty bad. Pretty scary actually. If he’s struggling with some sort of substance abuse, I hope there is someone close to him that can speak up, or help him out.
  6. Hahaha. That’s pretty good Greg! What a bunch of idiots these people are for actually taking this guy’s word for it.
  7. Hahahahaha. So now you’re either an idiot for believing what Trump says, or you’re disingenuous because you never believed him in the first place and now you’re trying to point out that he’s a liar. Hahahaha. Either way, it’s clear that Trump’s word isn’t worth anything more than the steaks he’s selling. Won’t be long before the Orange Pear says something that no one believes, and when he actually follows through on it for once, we’ll be told we’re a bunch of idiots for not believing what he said, when it was all so clear all long that he was serious this time. It all gives you a good look into the mind-fuck-ability that must run rampant in the real estate “negotiation” world. There’s a reason that the real estate industry attracts some of the country’s most unsavory characters. Trump fits right in.
  8. The TACO trade!? Hahahaha, how funny! If it’s such a self own, then it shouldn’t be long before the TWS groupies start donning their TACO hats and waiving their TACO flags. All items made in China, of course. They’ll show those Libtards! Maybe the play is long YUM? I can see the pick up trucks now, lining up at the Taco Bell, to show their unwavering support for their Orange Pear. Shouldn’t be long before we have an acronym for BURRITO.
  9. Replace "Participate in" with "Sell into"?
  10. Reading President Trump’s Memorial Day tweet makes me so proud to be an American! Sing it Neil! I’m pleased to see that he’s using his position of power to pay tribute to those who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice.
  11. This is an interesting discussion on TCAF with Richard Bernstein on the current bond set-up. Spoiler alert…Richard Bernstein doesn’t really think there’s much of an issue currently, but he does believe that rates may need to go higher? Josh Brown pushes back with the theory of demand destruction caused by tariffs, forcing the Fed to lower. “Real men don’t panic over bonds“ https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-compound-and-friends/id1456467014?i=1000709557087
  12. It would be interesting to see this graph with dollar figures.
  13. Severed Fingers and ‘Wrench Attacks’ Rattle the Crypto Elite. As bitcoin soars, investors and executives are taking their swollen digital wallets offline for safety. Criminals are coming after them, violently. https://www.wsj.com/finance/currencies/crypto-industry-robberies-attacks-32c2867a?st=2cVnxA&reflink=mobilewebshare_permalink
  14. It’s really cool how you find (and share) all these findings @gfp. Thanks so much.
  15. Maybe we should erect some statues of the brave British soldiers who fought us in the Revolutionary War. Wouldn’t want to forget our history!
  16. Hahahaha. Bring back our stachues!! Taking pride in honoring those traitors that got their asses kicked in the Civil War!?! I’m beginning to think the Anti-woke mind is just as diseased as the woke mind. TWS.
  17. Cool article @ValueMaven. Thank you for sharing. It mentions that Mr. Buffett reaching out to an Andrew McDermott of Mission Value Partners for advice on investing in Japan. I’ve never heard his name before (not that that means anything). I’m looking forward to learning more about him. On a related note, Tobias Carlisle and Jake Taylor from the After Hours Podcast talked about on a recent episode (below), how they just returned on a trip from Japan, sounds like maybe to do some scuttlebutt. They mentioned how the multiples were super low for some really great companies and how they were surprised that no one has tried to buy up some of these companies. Maybe buying companies outright is difficult because of the culture? It would be sweet if BRK was able to put a lot more capital to work in the country. It is my understanding that their manufacturing prowess is second to none. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-acquirers-podcast/id1454112457?i=1000703428265
  18. Here’s an interview on TCAF with TCOBF’s favorite short seller! A couple of interesting points that stuck out to me: -No mention of Fairfax, when asked about his biggest misses. Maybe is doesn’t qualify yet? -Admits to putting his name on other firm’s reports, as long as they agree with the premise and facts (this may not be a surprise, as I believe this issue was raised by other board members). -When asked what they do if one of the names they are researching starts to move (down) before they’ve published. He says they usually buy “Schmuck Insurance” just in case, so they can still capture some of the downside action. Hopefully he bought lots of Schmuck Insurance on FFH. -Josh Brown mentions how most investors don’t fully understand the businesses they invest in, and therefore when a short report comes out, they tend to believe the short seller and capitulate. No mention of what happens when one of the companies they short has an entire website/forum, and a legion of fans/investors devoted to in-depth research of said company. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-compound-and-friends/id1456467014?i=1000706947001
  19. Great take Paulene. Thank you for sharing.
  20. I’m pleased to see that BRK is trading down today in honor of Mr. Buffett’s announcement. I would have been saddened to see the stock rally on the news. It’s gotta feel good for the Ol Man to see as well, and it helps reinforce the idea that the extended applause he received at the meeting was more a tribute to what he has accomplished.
  21. Yea probably could be chalked up to his surprise by the news and sadness about himself stepping aside. He mentioned having 2 of the most incredible mentors for the past 50+ years and now it’s all winding down for them. It’s sad. Three total studs. I was pretty sad to hear Warren announce his retirement. What an incredible run and what an honorable way to hand the reigns to the new jockey.
  22. I saw that and thought the same thing. He also seemed a little shocked after having just learned of the news on his way over to the interview. I thought he gave a great interview after just hearing the news. He mentioned that he met Charlie in 1967 and Warren in 1969 and the three of them have been friends/partners for life. What a trio. It was a little sad and sweet.
  23. A BTC investor telling a BRK investor…”Good luck living off the dividends” Thankfully with BRK you don’t need luck.
  24. I’m hoping we can bring “fag” back by the midterms! I’ve been missing that one from the 3rd grade! And if so, those libtards will never win another election!
