You guys won't believe it, but I'm a centrist. Balanced budget, strong country, low debt, good economy, progressive values, support for those that cannot take care of themselves or are in true need of assistance. I'm also in favor of legal immigration, due process, compassionate immigration (to a degree), good education, universal healthcare with a strong private healthcare sector and believe in climate change...I trust science and medicine. I'm also not nationalistic...I believe Canada can play a significant role globally and we have a duty to do so. So put me where I belong on that political spectrum! Cheers!

Agree with you there! I thought the best line of the night was when Trump said "These guys never stand up!" The funny thing is that Trump will lose power not because of the Democrats, who have no clear leader or anyone to take up the mantle, but of his own follies and stupidity! There was no discussion of releasing the files during Biden...it was a criminal investigation and the thought was that they would prosecute others internally. I'm actually ok for top department officials to fly private...but give them some budget to work within. You have 30 or 50 hours of private flight time for personal use a year...that's it. Make them pay tax on it as a benefit if used. Food, amenities are at your cost...not taxpayers. Security, safety, efficiency are all necessary for these officials...I understand that. But cap the personal stuff and they enjoy it as a taxable benefit...not a perk! Cheers!

Actually, you are an outlier...whether you believe it or not. 75% of investors do not hold a stock longer than 5 years. ETF's have changed that slightly, but for those that own individual stocks, the holding period is not one of a business owner, but more of a speculator. Active fund managers are no different...their turnover is just as high. Berkshire shareholders, and even Fairfax shareholders, are more unique. Many have held for a long-time...a mindset encouraged by their CEO's. Again...outliers! Cheers!
