I don't see it as blatant racism. There was a huge problem that other administrations did not fix (including both Dems and Republicans). But the way they executed and targeted citizens, journalists, critics, etc...just a whole other level and it's just not legal or right! Cheers!

You're talking about two different things. Fauci and different health wardens made mistakes, but science and medicine, doctors, nurses, orderlies, hospital admin, etc...they worked their asses off...the science was right, but the administration is somewhat debatable. In fact, Trump did two things really well whether people agree or not...he shut down the southern border and Operation Warp Speed were huge successes. While he doesn't deserve the Nobel Peace Prize, he certainly deserves an award for those two things. That being said, it doesn't change the fact that he's a douche, liar and ass bag! Cheers!

I'm pretty sure doctors and nurses saved a hell of a lot of lives and certainly took care of more than their fair share of serious and acute symptoms! I know many doctors who suspended their practices and worked full time at local hospitals...sometimes 16-24 hour days. Let's cut back on how bad science and medical staff did. If you want to criticize the administration and government side...fair game...but science and medicine worked! No doubt about that. You've got a complete fucking moron now running health services in the U.S. because of that doubt of science and medicine. He's going to put the country back a couple of decades in healthcare relative to much of the world. Cheers!

Many of their earlier insurance businesses and many of their non-insurance investments are turnarounds...Eurobank, Bank of Ireland, Atlas Corp, Crum & Forster, Odyssey Re, etc. The question is how much work does it take for them to turnaround businesses and is it worth the risk/reward? I would say it's a ton of work, but more often than not, it has paid off. But the old core are pure Ben Graham/distressed investors. Nothing gets them wetter faster than the words "distressed" and "turnaround". So, they are a bit addicted. This is all changing slowly though as the younger leadership group, whose style is more of a blend of "cheap, quality" is seeping into the investment team. Cheers!
