  1. Its also worth noting that I would expect the Govt to drag their feet on those 11K docs. Why stop now? (Edit: However, Sweeny is getting more irritated. You can sense that.)So this could be 6-8 more months. Also, Im under the impression that this is still discovery...the trial actually hasnt started.
  2. Here's Sweeney's opinion granting the GSE shareholders' motion to compel "in its entirety" https://ecf.cofc.uscourts.gov/doc1/01512374709 … (free but needs login) Attached. 13-465-0340.pdf
  3. "There literally were years when the savings account earned more than was earned out of all operating assets of the steel business (In fairness to U.S. Steel, it should be mentioned that they were one of three pioneers in recognizing the importance of pension assets - and have done a better-than-average job through in-house management.)"
  4. I'm more interested in these 50 docs. Maybe I misunderstood how this works but these docs will only go to p counsel - you won't get to see them anytime soon. Yeah, youre right and Cherz is right also. I'm sure we might be able to infer some good tidbits on the actual docs so thats what I was kinda referring to. Mea culpa for the confusion.
  5. here is today's filing re: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jqnfit7jua6i6lm/FF%20Motion%20to%20Intervene%20Denied.pdf I'm sure gselinks will have it soon

  8. His liked-in (like you say)says he left as the Chief Operating Officer, Public-Private Investment Program, Office of Financial Stability U.S. Department of the Treasury August 2008 – March 2011 (2 years 8 months) That would place him right in the middle of the Fannie and Freddie issue...he could be our whistle blower.......straight to Fairholme right after that. He didnt even take some time off. Im so pissed I didnt put this together like a year ago. Were the talks of screwing the shareholders going on at this point? He may have not been popular if he was the only one to speak up for the shareholders at the time. 9. schmerin on the approved list of for those that can view the redacted documents?
  10. Mr. Schmerin served in the Executive Office of the President at the White House My honest to God conspiracy theory is that it goes all the way to the President. I just dont hope i end up on bagholderquotes for it. Edit: I will say its possibility...im just not sure what percentage. Real small. Could this be ground for impeachment if it goes to the president? His linkedin https://www.linkedin.com/in/schmerin

  12. I think this is the case as well. Take a look at the Director of Investment Research @ Fairholme. He left the Treasury in 2011, but my guess is that he has some knowledge of things that transpired re the NWS. http://www.fairholmecapital.com/daniel-e-schmerin/ Every-time you do something wrong there's always someone willing to sellout...dont to the wrong thing. Merk, Im a little upset I didnt think of this. Nice find.
  13. Berkowitz "just show the documents, we will quickly find out who's right or wrong and we can move on"

  15. You two are un-real.....MVPs. Citation of Supplemental Authorities right? (j) Citation of Supplemental Authorities. If pertinent and significant authorities come to a party's attention after the party's brief has been filed—or after oral argument but before decision—a party may promptly advise the circuit clerk by letter, with a copy to all other parties, setting forth the citations. The letter must state the reasons for the supplemental citations, referring either to the page of the brief or to a point argued orally. The body of the letter must not exceed 350 words. Any response must be made promptly and must be similarly limited. https://www.law.cornell.edu/rules/frap/rule_28 Is someone new involved in the story?
