Just a general observation. I like listening to old BRK meetings while I work. I thought I would try a DJCO meeting to mix it up having never listened to one. At the BRK meeting Charlie usually says “I have nothing further to add” unless he has something very important to add. I always had the impression that Charlie was just maybe more secretive and didn’t always want to show BRKs hand. At DJCO he has to answer every question and I was left with a totally different feeling. I was left thinking wow this guy really thinks very highly of himself and actually has some very bad half baked ideas. No wonder he likes killing his ideas so much. Not trying to belittle Charlie, just as a personal lesson maybe I should keep my mouth shut unless I really know.

I’m not a huge Clinton fan but a centrist Democrat with a GOP Congress in the 90s was a very well functioning government. If we could only get a new centrist party to win even 10% of the congressional seats, I think a lot of these issues might go away. Unfortunately the Democrats and GOP have deeper moats than MSFT and MCO it seems.

60s was a cultural Revolution with a massive culture war like now. Hippies vs their very conservative WW2 winning parents. Plus civil rights added to the mix. Interesting you had 2 Kennedy brothers, MLK, Malcolm X, and the attempt on George Wallace. So the side that was to eventually win the culture war took the most casualties. Interesting that this go round it has been Steve Scalise, Trump twice, Kirk, and Melissa Hortman. There are signs that the left is losing the culture war, DEI and Trans issues have seen huge reversals in opinion polling.

Trump is the worst. Unfortunately it’s a TINA situation. That being said, I have yet to see Trump pull a stunt like Biden’s Nurembergesque “MAGA/white supremacy is coming for you all” production.

Do you remember last September/October? I think the MSM industrial complex probably said the word “fascist” with respect to Trump and MAGA 1000s of times a day. That was actually Kamala’s closing campaign strategy. They are the ones that are always sanctimoniously telling everyone that words have consequences. I blame the kid, who was unfortunately brainwashed.

Yeah spent shell casing said “hey fascist catch” which puts it squarely on the MSM industrial complex. A relief that it appears to just be a mislead kid and not something people on the right can easily read conspiracy theories into. Hopefully we can de-escalate now.
