Anyone know of a list of all the outstanding warrants available? Some of these warrants like ROIC & BAC-W.A. have been interesting, would like to snoop around a complete list of all the available warrants? Anyone know where to find something like this?

I would be interested in the same thing. Primus has some warrants as well. I would wait to see what Q1 looks like, but its another de-leveraging telcom.

I track the warrants of about 10 companies. Here is the URL to get more info from Nasdaq on these

http://www.nasdaq.com/aspx/flashquotes.aspx?symbol=ROICW&symbol=C/WS/A&symbol=AIG/WS&symbol=CMA/WS&symbol=JPM/WS&symbol=VLY/WS&symbol=PNC/WS&symbol=BAC/WS/A&symbol=WFC.WS&symbol=COF.WS&selected=ROICW

I know that Ford, Lincoln National, Washington Federal, Hartford Financial and First National Bankcorp have warrants outstanding. You can check these from Nasdaq.

I'm going back quite a few years, but at one time Standard and Poors published a "Stock Guide" - It included basic information about thousands of stocks, bonds, pfds, wts, etc. I guess it went the way of other hardcopy publications. I haven't found an electronic version - too bad, it was useful for finding things like wts and their terms.

It's still published as a hard copy.  :)

I like FFBCW, which number only 400-something thousand total. That young guy that Buffett hired(I forget the name) owned 300-something thousand before leaving to go to Berkshire.

They have excellent capital ratios as compared to the rest of the bank world. I can wait 7 years to see how it comes out!

Twacowfca - how does one go about acquiring a copy or subscription?

Ericd1,

You will need to call Standard & Poor's at 1-800-852-1641 and ask them how to receive the Security Owners Stock Guide.

That's what I assumed initially too.  BUT then don't you have to assume that each warrant only entitles you to 1/10th of a share (since the warrants didn't go through the same 10-for-1 reverse split)?

You are correct. 10 warrants=1 share

I gave them a call awhile back and the book costs about $70. So I am not sure whether to buy it or not. Does anyone who have it think it is truly useful in this day and age?

I checked the recent issue.  It felt skinnier than last time I checked it a few years ago.  Sure enough, the warrants are out, and now it only has stocks and convertibles.  Bummer.  :(

I bought some of the Wells warrants through TD.  But, I had to call TD and I had to lead the broker to them...needed the CUSIP and lots of explanation.  Eventually, however, he found them and gave me the "online" rate.

If you can get the CUSIP for the warrants you want, they should be able to help you.

Does anyone know where I can get the warrants symbols for Interactive Brokers?  I looked here:

http://individuals.interactivebrokers.com/en/p.php?f=products

under warrants (there are none in North America for some reason)

and under NYSE in the stocks section but I don't see any warrants for AIG or C.

Thanks!

I just use their trading workstation app and when you plug in AIG or C you get that dropdown selection menu from which you can select the warrants.

However AIG warrants trade as AIGWS on NYSE.

Excellent!  Thanks Ericopoly!  I actually just found the "warrants" tab in the webtrader too, and it also brings up the warrants for the symbol!  I don't know how I missed that..
