rishig Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 My friend Saurabh Madaan recently hosted Pat Dorsey at Google to talk about investing in wide moat companies. I was in the audience and had the chance to ask questions. Loved the talk. Here is the recording:

Guest notorious546 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 He file a 13-F? I had found two when searching dorsey, not sure which one is him. http://stockzoa.com/search/?q=dorsey BTW. Here is a link to a Colfax's recent investor day presentation. It was the last company he mentioned in the presentation. http://files.shareholder.com/downloads/CLFX/3868568420x0x799809/4c7726ad-a2c7-4002-ad81-dc39820eaf0f/Final%20Investor%20Day%20Slides2.pdf
Guest Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 anyone have any idea what his track record is since he left morningstar?
cubsfan Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 It's only recently, last year or so, that he has been on his own. After Morningstar, he was running a unit of Sanibel Captiva with a lot of individual accounts. Now his focus is primarily institutional as I understand.
Guest Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Thanks, cubs. I've always wondered how he performed when he left there.
Phaceliacapital Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Anyone knows if the slides are available somewhere?
educatedidiot Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 Pat Dorsey does indeed file 13-Fs and his one for Q4 is out. He bought SiteOne Landscape Supply and added to Facebook, Chegg, Cimpress, Dollar General, Alphabet, Roper Technologies, Workiva, and Yelp. And it looks like he funded those purchases in part by selling his stake in Descartes Systems Group. http://www.rocketfinancial.com/Holdings.aspx?id=349360&fC=1
Liberty Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 Some slides from a presentation by Pat Dorsey (looks like it's from 2011): https://dorseyasset.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/10-years_100-analysts_2000-stocks_vic_omaha.pdf
