Added to Exor and KKR position.

John, thank you!

Yes. Nice to see that they deploy the FCAU dividend proceeds into the buyback program. Considering the discount this is a great way to add value.

Added to my Exor position. What am I missing? SOP-Value should be ~100 EUR vs. 62 EUR share price.

More MCR (Macro Enterprises) ... No idea what Mr Market is thinking. Just way too cheap.

+17.7% in EUR EUR.USD tailwind, took some losses in the oil space and was wrong in several other small cap situations. Overall happy with the results. +11.7% in 2014 +114.4% in 2013 +44.0% in 2012 +8.8% in 2011

1994 @ the age of 14. Have to confess I was a chartist, made 10x during dot com mania, lost it all and just in 2006/2007 I finally became a value investor.

We will see.

@Liberty: The FCC didn´t affect my decision. Got my first LBRDA shares from the Spin-off, then added from time to time to this position. It´s part of my "Malone basket".

I'm sorry if this has been discussed here before (searched but didn't find anything). In Buffett's latest letters he gives hints on how to value BRK. So for example here on page 7 ( http://www.berkshirehathaway.com/letters/2013ltr.pdf ) he gives an update of the "two quantitative factors": per-share investments and pre-tax earnings. When trying to calculate these numbers myself, I just can't get them right. Does anybody have a link or can give some hints? Thanks

Anyone still following this one? Seems they are now trading below book value for the first time.

IB showing me 58.2K shares available to sell short... tempting.
-
111.3% YTD (like yitech said: the result of concentration, a little bit of margin leverage and luck)
-
Added some URB.A (still like the big discount to NAV. Price ~1.87 vs. NAV of 2.87)
