  1. MSTR is the best risk/reward for Bitcoin. 1/3 of the company's market cap is in Bitcoin, and the software business alone is worth the current market cap. Citron Research has a target price $700. https://citronresearch.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/MicroStrategy-The-Best-Way-To-Own-Bitcoin.pdf

  3. I use an iPhone app called Total Return and it does the irr calculation for you. I operate on the KISS principle. Try doing it this way: As in: (2015 End - 2014 end + inputs)/2014 year end + inputs Then: (2015 end - inputs - 2104 end)/2014 end Take the average of the two. Does this makes sense? I just try to be consistent from year to year. Its mostly for my own purposes anyways.

  5. Clinton has charisma, and charisma is attractive. When you watch him speak, this guy knows how to captivate an audience.
  6. BABA is below IPO price. I'm interested in purchasing some shares. Any thoughts?
  7. Fidelity allows you to trade Korean stocks.
  8. All smart investing is value investing. It's how accurate you are in valuing the underlying business (growth, cynical..).
  9. NRCIB It should be trading at 6x of A shares (NRCIA).. huge mispricing.
  10. Could part of the reason for the misprice be related to Indian Stock Markets are not opened to non-Indians?
  11. I live in the U.S. and I'd like to buy stocks on Bombay or NSE exchange. Does anyone have any experience? Which brokerage did you use?
  12. Assuming the underlying asset you're buying is undervalued, leverage can dramatically improve your returns. But one major caveat for me is I only like leverage that is non-callable with a fixed interest rate and its greater than 4 years. This is why a 30 year mortgage, ~4% fixed interest rate was so attractive a few years ago when the real estate was undervalued. I also like warrants which their expiration date is more than 4 years. Because typically within 2-3 years, you will know if your stock thesis is correct.
  13. My wife and I just recently bought a Lexus ES 300H brand new with 1.9% financing for 5 years. We typically don't buy a car brand new because of the depreciation factor. But because the interest rates are so low, we just couldn't resist. We used to own a Lexus RX 300, which we put 220k + miles on it, before we traded it in for this new Lexus ES 300h. We know we are paying somewhat of a premium for owning a Lexus but once you've driven a nice car, it's really hard to scale back. If you want to get the most bang for your buck, I would go with a Toyota Camry or a Honda Accord. They are just well made cars that last for a long time.
  14. I just started managing my money in the last 2 years. I don't know my exact return from year to year because I measure everything by CAGR. My CAGR thus far is 20.22% for the last 2 years and I hope to get my CAGR to 26%.
  15. BAC will reach $20 per share. FCAU will spin off Ferrari. My portfolio will be up 30+ percent. Oil will remain around 60-70.
  16. One of biggest regrets is not discovering CoB&F until the beginning of this year. There are so many intelligent people on the board.
