Anyone adding more to FNMAS? It's been trading at its lowest since Trump's election last Nov. -
What was your longest held stock and what was the return?

I've held BAC, WFC and LUK since start of recession 2008ish. Still holding them now but have been reducing LUK a little bit. I bought and some a few others, ATSG, MCO, AXP, HD, and all other multibaggers if I didn't sold. I guess what we can learn from this thread is that you should buy and hold and let it ride. Even those stocks that have chance of going to zero, 1 of them did ZINC and it was painful. But then again, what should one do when one strategy involves copying other successful investors? When they zag, what are you suppose to do? -

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/fannie-freddie-investors-seek-rehearing-191135466.html Can someone spell out the probability of this going to shareholders way? For example, the probability of the lost case Perry vs Mnuchin was 3/8. Because there were 3 judges, assuming we want all 3 judges to favor shareholders or at least 2 judges. The chances of this happening was 3/8 and we lost. You can see this example http://math.stackexchange.com/questions/364986/probability-of-getting-exactly-2-heads-in-3-coins-tossed-with-order-not-importan. Now what is the chances of us winning in this rehearing? How many judges do we have this time? -
Thank you BG and SD for sharing.

Can you please explain more about "the employee arbitrage system"? Other than the two books already mentioned here, can someone list more books about insights about the different systems like the Patels use, etc? I've heard about the Patel hotel business briefly from Monish's book. If someone can summarize a list of brokers/websites that they use to browse the small business for sale/sell, that will be good also. I've seen one website Biz buy sell. I've never registered for the website but some brokers want you to pay up just to get little information about the business. Anyone experience the same thing? What are the usual expenses you guys paid just to get some information on their books (sales, inventory, profit, etc)?

How much did you reduce? 50%? http://www.housingwire.com/blogs/1-rewired/post/39521-where-does-housing-finance-reform-stand-now#.WMFi_lbvV8Q.twitter Of the 5 panelists above, which reform is closestly aligned with current shareholders / pref holders? I know DeMarco and Parrot are working for the big banks so not good for current shareholders. How about the other 3 reforms? -

This is what I'm thinking and reason I sold my 50% common position with the thought of adding to my prfd position on any further decrease. The prfd's are all friendly players and Mnuchin could make a fortune while still providing par. I also still believe that a conversion is still a strong possibility. Could you please remind me again on how Mnuchin could make a fortune on this? -

Found one through Google shopping: https://www.google.com/search?q=Capital+Account:+A+Fund#q=Capital+Account:+A+Fund&tbm=shop. Not sure if this is the 1993, even though it listed the ISBN 9781587991806 and priced at $19.99. I haven't heard of this etailer before but it is fulfilled by Amazon so... -

Does he own more than 10%? Form 4s don't apply to 5%+ holders. How did journalist find out on his purchase? I believe from this 13g filing (which does apply to 5%+ holders): https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/315090/000119312515399523/d103925dsc13g.htm Thanks. -

I have FNMAS, FNMAH, and FMCCL, in that order of current dollar amounts. Of those 3, liquidity is best on FNMAS and discount to par is best on FMCCL. FNMAH is in the middle on both metrics. I haven't bought any shares in the past 10 months, own too much already. I have FMCKJ. This is similar to FNMAS but currently trading less than FNMAS. Did you buy that only because of liquidity or is there another reason as well? Trying to figure out why some are so much more popular than the others (aside from liquidity). Dividend yields. Both. FAIRX owns big chunk of FNMAS and FMCKJ. -
