Why does Canada fake all this unity with NATO? I haven't a clue. Why did they promise since 2014 to make their NATO commitments? Maybe you know Why did Canada say - we'll be at 2% by 2032? It certainly not money. But keeps screaming about the big bad USA - you'll be protected! You're screwing Europe more than anyone - and Ukraine needs you!

You should wear your stiffing of your best allies in Europe with a badge of honor. NATO will protect you, but you don't have to pay for it, as long as the US has you covered. Can't use trade deficit as an excuse, you got a $60B surplus and still stiff NATO.

The whole Canada/USA situation is getting pretty hilarious. Canada runs a beautiful $60B trade surplus with the US, but can't pony up for a measly 2% NATO share, the worst in NATO. And the reason: Trump is a monster!

Most of us will never forget how they lock up grandmothers for months for illegal acts like walking in the Capitol and taking pictures. Pretty good article, trying to save the totally corrupt institutions of the FBI, CIA and DOJ. It won't work. The citizens saw how these institutions destroyed any trust we had for them when they unleashed their awesome resources and power on the opposition party for years. When NATO members made a commitment in 2014 (11 years ago), to meet their spending commitments - it should not take until 2032 (in Canada's case) to get there. Free free to spin this disgrace all like - but facts are facts - however embarrasing it may be. at least own up to it.
