There were plenty of guys like Wray in the first term. Old news. But the Democratic party has been hijacked by the far left - which Americans roundly voted against on Nov 5. When they are warned that this is why they lost the election - they double down on the far left and force out the moderates. It's wonderful to see, since it assures the death of the party.

The base of the Democratic party is being destroyed - with little help from Republicans. Why did Republicans win? They got: Last election, 48% of Hispanics, 26% of black males, Dems hemmoraging Asians & youth vote. It's amazing to see Democrats polling at 27% approval with independents fleeing. Down 20% from 12 months ago. But when you don't address the fundamental issues hurting Americans,, this is to be expected. No one can figure out what Democrats represent, except "We hate Trump"

He's already raided the House for a number of candidates, so yeah, the majority is razor thin. Why on earth would he want to endanger the majority? Very smart move. Like I said - the Democratic party is in total destruction mode. You can't find dumber leadership than a party continues to double down on woke BS - which is an 70/30 issue for the country. Independents want nothing to do with the loon party gone crazy.

When you have a rude/despicable guest in your house, you ask them to leave - if that fails, you forcibly remove them. IF they hate Americans, they can go back to the country they love and protest/threaten/break all the laws they want. Good riddance to them.

Guests are granted Visas to study, not break the law and intimidate/harrass other students. They can do that in Gaza or Syria or Turkey. Illegals immigrants are here illegally, just as surely as if your neighbor came in your front door and made himself at home over your objection.

The universities are teetering on the brink. Many are likely to be broken. Their funding will be pulled as they allow the harassment of Jewish students or contination of DEI policies/CRT. It will be a fight to make them centers of education again - but the DOJ, State Department are not fooling around anymore with law breakers. Radicals that come here to "study" will no longer be allowed to harass Jewish students and demostrate their support for HAMAS. They will be kicked out, as they should be. They are "guests" not citizens.

You are correct @John Hjorth. The US is a deeply divided country, much more than at any time in my lifetime. The last 12 years or so, we have experimented and implemented the socialist playbook. We have watched the model fail in Europe, we see the model fail in the Middle East, we see the model fail in Russia. We want no part of it - while you destroy your cultures. Half the country is committed to keeping our culture and traditional values. A portion of the other half is hell bent on destroying the culture through government. The independents are moving quickly to the right, as the Left keeps moving farther left with AOC and other radicals. DEI and the Woke movement are dying in America. The leftist Democratic party polls at 27% approval currently, with the independents flocking to the Republicans & Trump. The US choose the direction it wanted with the resounding Trump victory. The majority wants nothing to do with our own failed move to the left. The last 4 years were hell. The US will close their borders, reinstitute law and order, rebuild our industries, preserve our culture and heritage - and concentrate on improving the lives of Americans. This President cares deeply about Americans first and is not a globalist.

I'm very happy about what I see. The FBI, DOJ, CIA all need a good housecleaning. In the last 3 elections, Washington DC voted 95% democratic - all in protection of DC. You go nowhere in DC as a Republican - so weaponization was a natural result. You need to set examples for corruption. That's what's coming. They broke the law and they will all have fair trials. It's going to be the only way to reclaim the Federal government. People that did nothing have nothing to fear.

I believe in actions, not empty words of politicians that lie. I believe in law and order - not weaponized government with a 2 tier justice system. National security, not open borders. I have strong beliefs about American culture, good old fashion stuff, like equal opportunity and merit based rewards - and certainly individual rights. Government that actually works for the people, not themselves.

Well - you have some great ideas there. Like get the trades going - great jobs. I say defund the Universities that crank out worthless degrees.. The realignment is going to be tough and challenging. Hope they have the runway.

Awesome response !!! By any chance have you watched the extended interview with Howard Lutnick that @flesh posted? I think the economic plan is underestimated. Reshoring jobs, etc. With Ukraine - we know very little about the outcome. Putin will be harsh to deal with, no doubt. But Putin does hold the cards. Ukraine will have to make great sacrifices to end this war. And no one is coming to their aid to fight. It's a very tough situation for Ukraine. American's national security focus needs to be on Mexico, Panama Canal (big win), Middle East (Red Sea access), and of course China. Europe can handle (and should Ukraine). So we can argue about best tactics to end Ukraine War, I'll be happy to be wrong if Europe decides to take Russia down, in order to put Ukraine in a better negotiating position - I just don't see it. Your point is well taken.

These DEI programs are institutional racism. They are helping to destroy our Universities. The schools will continue to rename and hide these programs until they are busted.
