  1. 100% agree with your statement. At best they're weighing machines, weighing from the past events.
  2. What are the secondary impact on the sectors like: MIC (Military Industrial Complex) MAG7 (Google, Apple, Etc.) What happens to them when other countries act like China or slide with China in avoiding them. Most of US exports are concentrated in these. US outperformance over the past decade is mainly due to these exports. What are the tertiary effects?
  3. There's another way to look into these tariffs. US is moving from Direct tax(reducing Income tax) to Indirect Tax (Tariff) via these moves. They can't do this via increasing the sales tax. That will back fire, but using tariffs they can change the political view using emotion of nationalism.
  4. Their Hyva acquisition should give a nice fillip and can reach the €10 Euro in earnings in couple of years. Also their Asia margin (local production with cheap labour/material) is double that of rest of the world , should grow nicely with Hyva.
